Since Feb 2005

Calgary, Canada

I'm a proud Canadian, and I'm happy to say that I've travelled the length of the Trans-Canada with an RV twice, spending the whole summer doing so each time. When I travel, I'm most interested in history and nature. I'm aespecially interested in living history sites, and have visited just about every one in Canada. I enjoy visiting museums also, and although I'm no longer an active birdwatcher, I still enjoy watching wildlife and checking out local plant species. "Travel style"? If don't learn something on my trip, then I might as well have stayed home. ***** I feel that TA members expect content from other members (including DEs) to reflect the experiences of ordinary travellers. I do not accept offers that are extended to me because I'm active on TA, offers that wouldn't be available to me as a general member of the travelling public.
