Rose Cottage is a recently restored cottage, with, on the first floor, two large bedrooms containing king-size beds, a dressing room and a shower room with sink and low level WC. On the ground floor, there is a good-sized sitting room with woodburner in an attractive large bressumer fireplace, large TV with FreeSat; again a good-sized kitchen and a separate dining/reading room, plus a downstairs toilet/laundry room with wc, washbasin and washing machine. The cottage is 20 minutes' walk from the clean sandy beaches of Mundesley, with lovely walks all around, pubs and restaurants, and plentiful shopping facilities. 15 minutes' walk away is the village of Trunch, with shop/post office and The Crown, a pub having 3 to 4 guest beers, a small dining room and bar snacks. Norwich is just 30 minutes away by car, and 20 minutes away is Stalham Broad. Day boat hire is plentiful and relatively inexpensive! Alternatively you could drive up the coast to our many picturesque towns and villages, such as Sheringham, Wells, Blakeney, Stiffkey, Cley, Holkham and many many more!! Dog Friendly Places - the locality has many beaches that can be explored, most having attractive cliffs and plenty of wildlife. Inland, there are so many good dog walks, with convenient pubs dotted around. The dog walker is certainly spoilt for choice!! Mundesley Golf course is half a mile away, and welcomes guest golfers! Some past reviews: Lovely cottage deceptively large and spacious all mod cons but retaining an olde world feel , everything you need just a short trip to all the places we wanted to go. Plenty of supermarkets 10 mins away ,I was sorry I had packed my kindle such a good selection of books in the cottage. We loved the bedrooms and bathroom and the smaller dressing room but downstairs was equally lovely my favourite was the kitchen and sun room but my husbands was the living room he was just upset it wasn’t cold enough to warrant lighting the log burner . The two grandchildren 8 and 10 slept like logs and we had to wake them up in a morning all I can say is we will be back

How to get there
Our second visit to Rose Cottage and we had a lovely time. The cottage is beautiful and facilities are excellent and it's very clean, tidy and welcoming. Having Sky sports and internet connection/ wifi are added bonus as we were able to watch all Premiership games on Sky. It is also very dog friendly. Shops are close by, Waitrose, Lidl, Sainsbury in North Walsham or Co-op, Morrissons etc in Cromer. Tesco express in Mundesley. Mundesley Beach is a short drive, plenty of parking facilities. It is also pet friendly, clean and plenty of space for everyone. We will definitely book again for next year Absolutely loved this beautiful little cottage, and it was so pet friendly.
