We have just returned from a few days at The Old Milking Parlour. We had a wonderful time. This is a great location for visiting many places including The Cotswolds. The Cottage is extremely comfortable and well equipped and very much home from home. The...More

We decided to come back to this place after a lovely stay last year in family. Again it was very enjoyable, convenient and comfortable house. Thank you again Val for your welcome and your flexibility ! We will surely come back in the future

Can't speak more highly of the accommodation. We had a lovely time in this beautifully decorated and well appointed old milking parlour. Nicely situated in north Wiltshire near to lots of interesting locations. Great!

About the neighbourhood
Purton sits on a hill with views on the Thames floodplain. Purton's amenities include several shops, a post office and pubs and restaurants. It also has an unusual church, St Mary the Virgin, with a tower at one end and a spire at the other.
Threre is lots to do nearby with an ice skating rink and 10 pin bowling less than 5 mins by car . Also a large shopping outlet village less than 3 miles away.
Purton is on the edge of The Cotswolds very close to Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, which enables you to visit these counties which have plenty to offer. Fairford International Air Show 18 and 19 July only approx 10 miles by road Yet the capital of London is only an hour away by train. 70 miles by road .

Proceed approx 500 yards to Bagbury Lane on left. The Old Milking Parlour Is Approx 300 yards on left. Farm gate marked 'The Barn' .
