Morley's Place is situated in the middle of a spice plantation , surrounded by lush green Tea estates, on the banks of river Periyar at an altitude of 2550 feet above sea level, close to Periyar Tiger Sanctuary, Thekkady, Kerala , India. The view is amazing and the climate is pleasant throughout the year. It is suitable for people who love to get away from crowds and relax in natural surroundings.
Don’t stay here they are aggressive and try to cheat you all they time. Ganesh the caretaker just wants to make extra money and is a nasty person.

Far away from the bustle and the bright city lights.......
Lovely cottage built atop a hillock, overlooking a wide expanse of the meandering Periyar river, with gurgling brooks and mounds of tea plantations around! When even an artist with an eye for detail may not be able to capture the lovely setting of this picture perfect place how can an inexpert like me describe the grandeur of it? Tastefully done interior and exterior and dos and don'ts written (You wont find them anywhere) with a wry sense of humour and a personal touch make them very interesting and readable. On the whole, the best place of bliss to unwind!
We booked Noah's Nest too,
'Just married'? Don't regret not booking it after growing old like we did.What a lovely place of solitude and splendor! BTW, the title explicitly refers to this 'World of your own'! You have only the river and the chirping birds and the tall trees and thickets for company but they will not look your way! But beware! Your partner may grow jealous because you are distracted by the sheer magical beauty around you!
Summarising,
The owner on call was most kind and helpful .
Muthu cooked very delicious customised food for us and took care of all our needs.
Ganesh was our lively guide and help.
Biju the driver was most efficient and very helpful; in fact he helped our driver negotiate the most acute angle and steep curves.
Just a word of caution; please consult the helpful owners before you drive inside. They have a 4WD jeep and it is better to heed to their advice before arriving.

An awesome experience!
This place is not too close to the town, giving it a peaceful ambience. Still not so far, for the needs. The silence, along with the chill air gives a feel of natural being. They do provide TV, I wonder why would someone need one! The tree house had an amazing view of the river through the trees and of the tea plantations. The place is made even more cool with funny sign boards.!

Wonder full place
I was fortunate to stay at Morley's Place during my trip to India. Initially I had booked for two days, but decided to extend our stay after Seeing Noah's Nest Tree House in the property. OMG, what an awesome experience. What amazing view and the unique experience of actually living in a real tree house . It was very clean, safe and comfortable. Food, steaming hot, was delivered by caretaker Muthu and boy, was it yummy. Thank you Abraham's for your hospitality and care. We will certainly come back.

Just Awesome experience, Fabulous Tree house, Friendly Owners and nice Plantation...
Excellent place for a complete hide out. The place is located little away from the main town so the beauty factor is here...
a) No motor vehicle sound can be heard
b) No pollution of Air and you will get best Oxygen and spring water
c) No pollution of Sound
d) Almost all the areas you can see from the top of the hill
e) Bird's eye view of all aspects...
f) Too many variety of Horn-bill birds can be seen here
g) Its located in the middle of the Plantations.
h) Periyar river of Kerala is shared the fence of this place so you can do fishing and Trekking activities here.
i) The style of the stay and ambiance is exactly suits for those who looking for semi casual way or I would say on Heritage concepts...
j) Mr. Morley Philip and his wife are very friendly, polite and explains very well about the place before we book our accommodation there and you will get more than what you expect in the mind.
k) There is a separate Tree-house for honeymooners and damn sure shall be awesome experience.
l) Highly commendably place for a different experience.
j) My suggestion for the pets can be allowed here.
Definitely come back to this place very soon for a 3 nights stay and experience the cardamom plantations and its drying process.
