The Haven is a very comfortable and cosy holiday home.
With two en-suits bedrooms, open plan lounge-kitchen, wood fire stove and parking on premises, it is so equipped to provide all needed facilities for a real home comfort and peaceful holiday.
The sandy beaches at Rosemarkie with coffee bar, resturant, sports and playground are only within one mile.
The Chanonry point lighthouse (most famous Scottish dolphin-watching spot) and the 15th oldest golf course in the world, are 10 and 5 minutes walk from the house.
The Fortrose shops, restaurants, marina, pubs are also less than a mile away.

The Haven's central location on the Black Isle peninsula is, not only ideal for visiting all Scottish Highland towns and villages, historic attractions, castles or distilleries, it is also well located for engagement in golfing, climbing, hillwalking, cycling, cruising and fishing while seeing wildlife in different areas, lochs and mountains.
There is a lot that is good about the Haven, but we were very disappointed. The main reason for this is that at least 4 websites describe this property as having 2 bathrooms. How can they do this when it very obviously has only one bathroom. We would not have booked this property had we been aware that there is only one bathroom.
Also - disappointed that there isn't a freezer box in the fridge - we needed one.
We arrived late afternoon and the heating, which unbelievably is controlled from the main house, was not on. It made for a very cold welcome.
