This is a 534 sq. ft., STUDIO unit, with a full kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a countertop stove, refrigerator, microwave, and an oven. This quaint space, has a fully functioning work space, that doubles as a place for dining. This unit extends out into the garden where there is a pair of designated loungers for each unit. A coin operated onsite laundry facility, which serves 5 other similar units, offers convenience to our valued guests.

About the neighbourhood
Located at the eastern end of Grace Bay, this property, comprises 6 (2 bedroom) and 6 studio units. Newly built , they are quite modern, with high speed internet. It boasts a pool, barbecue, chess & other outdoor spaces. There are two (2) entrances: west and east. Parking is also available. This area is home to Ocean Club East, The Tuscany, The Venetian and Blue Haven. We are a mere 10 minutes walk to Grace Bay beach, and a 3 minutes DRIVE to the Grace Bay strip, where a wide range of shops and dining can be found.
We are located between Provo Golf Course and Leeward Palms.
Getting around
Checkers Vacation Rentals, is a 3 minutes drive to the main shopping and dining area of Grace Bay, and, as such, we do recommend a motor vehicle for getting around. However, if you are a bike enthusiast, that is also another option. Grace Bay beach, however, is a 10 minutes walk. Taxis can be costly, and we do not have Uber or Lyft, or a registered public ground transportation system. It is mainly, for this reason, that we keep our units competitively priced, especially in comparison to properties in this area.

How to get there
Welcome to Checkers Vacation Rentals and the Turks and Caicos Islands!
We do not have a front desk. What we have is an off-site check-in office, at The Lodgings Hotel.
Located at 34, Old Airport Road, The Lodgings is just 2 minutes from the Providenciales International Airport.
USING A CAB/TAXI? Please give us a call once you exit customs and we'll pick you up from the airport, take you to The Lodgings, and get you a cab /taxi from there.
RENTING A CAR? Please see directions to The Lodgings...
From the airport, turn RIGHT at the roundabout.
Pass Inter-Caribbean office on the left, CID Headquarters (big blue building) on the right. The Lodgings, is the next entrance on the right (red doors).
Here, you will be given your keys, directions to the property and your card will be swiped for your security deposit of $250.00. Please have your photo ID available upon arrival.
If you choose to go directly to the property, there will be an additional charge of $25.00 and possible delay in getting the keys to you.
Upon checking out, please return ky to The Lodgings. If for whatever reason, you do not return the key to the property, there will be an additional fee of $25.00, to have someone retrieve same.

We do accommodate early check-ins or late checkouts, whenever possible. However, it is not guaranteed, and there may be an additional charge of $100.00.
