Beautiful place, very clean and well presented. Outstanding views from the front. We particularly enjoyed listening to the stream bubbling away at night. The owners were very friendly and helpful throughout the duration of our stay, providing us with lots of information about the surrounding area- there are numerous castles and historical sites within easy driving distance, and a lovely shale beach a minutes walk away from the house. 10/10 on all fronts and would certainly consider staying again.

A lovely lovely cottage to have as your base while...
A lovely lovely cottage to have as your base while exploring the area. Phil and Ellen have thought of everything, the place is so well equipped and comfortable, with anything and everything you might need. I especially appreciated all the tips, leaflets and typed up suggestions about where to go and what to explore. I loved it there and would be back for sure!

Wonderful place - beautifully kept and very comfortable. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. The hosts went out of their way to help us. You really could not ask for more. Most highly recommended

We wanted peace and quite, the road noise was no problem. We enjoyed our week with the dog. We were greated on arrival and asked if there was anything we needed. After that we were left alone (which is what we wanted) but could have spoken to the owners who lived next door. The old electric meter took old coins but there was sufficient for our needs and could have got more if we needed them. All together a pleasent visit.

lovely cottage, clean and cosy.
lovely cottage, clean and cosy. Decking made it very special though with beautiful views and red squirrels and birds visiting. Owners were very friendly and helpful with ideas, and they stored our bikes under cover for us. Hotel with lovely views just down the road and a friendly pub nearby for meals.
