Pen Y Bryn Farmhouse (the big white house) is located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Betws Yn Rhos, in the beautiful North Wales countryside - Just 3 miles inland from the seaside town of Abergele. With quick and easy access to North Wales Expressway taking you to Chester or Holyhead in around an hour .
Pen y Bryn farmhouse is situated on over 25 acres of private land, away from the hustle and bustle of town. Pen Y Bryn is no longer a working farm, the fields are rented to a local farmer for grazing and crop growing. There are almost a mile of country paths located on the property which guests are welcome to enjoy at their leisure. We live and work on site so we can be available during your stay if you need us to help with anything. We include a welcome book with instructions of how to use everything such as the heating and cookers, connect to the internet and how to get to the local shops etc. The book also includes information on how to contact us if you need anything during your stay. We include a range of leaflets for local attractions and have a blog on our website with suggestions of places to visit during your stay. If you have any questions - please ask, we are happy to help.

Spacious well equipped property with fabulous outdoor hot tub and BBQ. Amazing rural location too, with east access to Snowdonia.

Penybryn farm is amazing place to stay. It’s place with amazing view and personality. Owner lady is so warm hearted and she makes you feel very welcome here! Rooms have those own vintage design and everything is very clean and tastefuly decorated! We highly recommend...More

About the neighbourhood
The farmhouse is perfectly positioned to enjoy a nice country walk.
Just a few minutes drive from many local castles and places of historical interest.
Abergele and Pensarn train station is just 10 minutes drive and is located on the sea front at Pensarn which is very popular with visitors to the area. There is a dedicated cycle track that runs through Abergele and Pensarn allowing you to cycle all the way over to Rhyl or Llandudno via Colwyn bay and take in the stunning coastal views. Llandudno can be reached by car in around 15 minutes, Chester and Holyhead in around an hour.
We are lucky to be located on the doorstep of Snowdonia national park which offers a huge range of outdoor activities, adrenaline sports and stunning views.

A car is recommended, we are around 3 miles from the nearest train station -Abergele and Pensarn and around half a mile from the nearest bus stop.

Driving - Take A-55 Expressway and exit at J24 Signposted Abergele. Continue into Abergele town centre and take a left at the second set of traffic lights onto Chapel Street (A548) Signposted Llanrwst.
Drive approx 3 miles and turn right to Betws Yn Rhos (B5381)
Drive approx 50 metres then turn right onto single track lane.
Drive ½ mile and turn right into our entrance.
Bear left at the top of the rise and down into the courtyard.
Parking is included free of charge.
