Water Meadow Cottage is a gorgeous three-bedroom period cottage nestling in Suffolk's beautiful Alde Valley, a short drive away from the popular coastal destinations of Aldeburgh, Orford and Dunwich.

The large south-facing garden, full of flowers and wildlife, includes a big secluded terrace with table and chairs, and offers lovely views of the surrounding meadows.

The comfortable sitting room is home to a large wood-burning stove that heats the whole cottage.


This pretty cottage is Grade II listed, with a newer extension, and offers family sized accommodation. It is one of three cottages converted many years ago from a 16th century farmhouse. There are beautiful oak beams in the original rooms.

Lovely,cosy holiday cottage. Clean and very well equipped, great for families with a nice garden and amazing choice of toys,books and games. It took a while to get to grips with the wood burning stove but once we did it heated the cottage brilliantly. Owners...More

5 minutes drive away is the pretty market town of Saxmundham which has a Waitrose. Saxmundham is 2 hours by train from London Liverpool Street Station.

The Suffolk coast is 15 minutes drive: Aldeburgh, Orford, Dunwich all in easy reach.
