The Mistletoe House is managed by trained staff to look after guests for their needs . If you got some recipe of your own and interest in trying your hand in the making of some memorable food, just feel free to don Chef's hat and create your masterpiece. About the neighbourhood
The area abounds with a rich natural topography including lakes, forests and mountains. Right 300 meters ahead on village Bhagtpura road, there is a quaint lake known as Nal Damayanti Tal. This lake has a huge population of local fish. You can visit the Tal, but fishing is prohibited. Within 2.5 kms radius are famous Bhimtal, and Sattal lakes. Naukuchia Tal is 7 Km and Nainital lake is 25 KM. Known as Dev-bhumi, the area has many temples of varying antiquities. The most amazing 13th century, Jageshwar temple is a delight for the spiritual as well as history buff.
Getting around
The area around has developed into a tourist centre with all kinds of outdoor activities for tourists with different tastes. The Bhimtal vallley is rich in Oak forest and at 1450 meters of benign altitude, provides ideal climate for rarest Himalayan birds to swarm between September- June. Bird watchers throng the place in large numbers. If you have some interest in bird watching and photography, do let us know, we will try to organize a birder's trek with some local birders ( It includes charges). It is difficult to find any public transport on the hills. We recommend that you keep a car ready for you to go around. We can also help with arranging a cab.
