Villa
This wonderful bougainvillea-clad villa boasts an unbeatable location right on the seashore.
It has 180-degree views, to the town and harbour to the south, to the intriguing hills of Albania in the distance to the east. Inside offers a luxury refuge , as does the pool which is right on the edge of the pebble beach.
The villa enjoys a history that's as impressive as its location, being the first house to be built in the Imerolia area more than a century ago. Overlooking the beach, the poolside terrace is home to a pretty gazebo, a barbecue area and a large shaded terrace. At the same level as the gazebo is a spacious semi-detached apartment with its own separate entrance, joined to the rest of the house via an outside staircase and home to a twin bedroom, a shower room and an open-plan l...

Just A Wonderful Holiday in a Beautiful Villa
What a wonderful place to stay for a family holiday. The location is fabulous. 3 steps and you are in the sea ( take beach shoes you will need them). The pool is lovely too. There are so many areas to choose from, we particularly liked eating in the 'bandstand'.The accommodation is better than expected as the kitchen has been completely updated. The bathrooms need a refit now but functional and plenty of hot water. You cannot flush anything down the loo - it's fine you just get used to it. Loo roll is supplied and replenished throughout the stay and the cleaner takes the bins out regularly. There is a fish taverna just a short walk along the beach which is pretty good. Takes about 20 mins to walk into Kassiopi so we had a delivery which was organised for us for getting in the heavy stuff. We also asked the taxi driver to stop on then way from the airport to grab some essentials although there is a welcome pack which included milk. We found nothing in the cupboards apart from tea, coffee and sugar sachets. BBQ works well and there were coals but they may have been left over from the previous renters. There are definitely midges so bring plenty of jungle spray. The food in Kassiopi is of a high standard. Favourite was Janis especially for the sunset. The Old School House had the best moussaka. To be honest we didn't have a bad meal but be sure to book. There are some lovely shops in Kassiopi too. Would happily return to this villa, a little bit of luxury.

Outside Top - Kitchen biological hazardous
Lovely located with a great outside area next to a sea. The inside can’t quite keep up. Everything is a little dated but that’s OK.
The only thing that is anything but OK is the kitchen - mold everywhere. Specially for sensible people quite to a biological hazardous environment.

Villa Imerolia - Kassiopi
If you want a comfortable, beautiful house in which to relax whilst listening to the sea lapping on the shore, this is for you. You can float around in the pool which is beautifully clean and great to watch the bay from. My favourite thing was to get up early and sit and watch the little fishing boats and the sun rise. Easily walkable into Kassiopi itself too. The only awkward thing was the cleaners, whilst being very friendly and respectful of your privacy, would park a big pick up on the really narrow lane outside the house, making it really difficult to squeeze past with your own vehicle (we scraped a wheel on a hidden stone in the grass) , when they could park in the little bay just a bit further on. However, Villa Imerolia is the best holiday villa we've stayed in, making it a very special family.holiday.

Lovely
Comfortable spacious villa with stunning outlook. Lovely landscaped gardens and pool. Well equipped (although dishwasher a little pointless). Ten minutes flat walk into Kassiopi so car rental not really necessary. There's a little road noise from time to time but nothing intrusive. Cleaning lady comes every two to three days and does a great job. All in all, wonderful.

Beautiful place
We spend 8 days with the family at this place and had a wonderful time. I've never spend a vacation on such a wonderful place. The owner of the villa is very friendly and helped us whenever we need something. Every second day there came a woman who cleaned everything and changed the towels!
We definitely come back!

Amazing villa but a couple of things to be aware of...
The villa facilities and view are truly amazing. The owners are extremely helpful and do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Why not 5 stars? Firstly, the villa is next to a quay where the tour and fishing boats dock at night and are repaired/overhauled before they go out each day. This means a lot of engine noise and banging very early each morning.
Second challenge, the walk to the centre of Kassiopi is only 15 minutes but the pavement is broken and missing in some stretches meaning you have to walk in the road. For the less adventurous this can be un-nerving especially when the large coaches go past or in the dark.

Never again!
We visited Corfu 2 years ago with my sister, and fell in love with the island. So this year it was our choice for a family vacation. Last time we stayed at a beautiful 5 star hotel, but for this trip decided to try a different type of holiday, and chose a villa to rent. Unfortunately our choice was Villa Imerolia.
The place is located near Kassiopi, which is your average, super boring Greek village that has nothing to offer to a tourist. If we didn’t have a car to travel every day somewhere else, the stay would have been a nightmare.
I have to admit that the advertised pictures of the house do not differ from reality, the place is cozy, the furniture ok, the pool nice and the outside space green. What you won’t see in the picture though, is the stink of mold in the kitchen. And when I say ‘stink I mean it. Whenever you open a drawer, the smell becomes unbearable. Also you will not see the kitchen appliances that simply don’t work properly and make cooking a proper nightmare. Note, if you want to cool a bottle of wine in that fridge, make sure to place it there for at least 24 hours.
One thing you might notice in the pictures, but may not pay attention to, is that 2 out of 3 bathrooms have showers with plastic shower curtains, which give you a “pleasant” feeling of living in a cheap motel. Not to mention the fact that showering in such conditions is nearly impossible, so in the end the 4 of us were forced to use one single bathroom.
Another thing you will not be warned about, is that the place is infested with wasps. So if you imagine a peaceful breakfast outside, enjoying the sea view, add to this picture a swarm of wasps at your table. You will be lucky if you manage not to swallow one. We were bitten 2-3 times each and ended up having breakfast inside. If you have allergies, travel with children, or simply don’t like insects, think in advance of efficient measures to fight them, because no assistance or advice will be offered from the host.
We didn’t enjoy our stay, and will not come back.

About the neighbourhood
Kassiopi is one of the most beautiful and well known resorts in Corfu, where visitors return year after year. A place that combines mountain with sea, green with blue, new with old, tranquillity with liveliness, the locals that make you feel welcome and important to them, it fulfils the needs of all ages with many choices for day or night. Kassiopi is situated on the north east coast of Corfu at 36 kilometres from Corfu Town and is surrounded by lush green slopes of olive trees and charming little bays. It’s picturesque amphitheatre shaped port, it’s well preserved church, it’s cosmopolitan finesse, it’s deep blue and hospitable shores, the sight of the huge Byzantine fortress that looms over the village .
