This cottage had all the comforts of our own home and more, the coziest beds, fully equipped kitchen with all the tools and appliances we needed to make any meal. They also provided pantry basics like oil and seasonings with some nice extras like the keg brand steak mix, paprika, chillies and garlic powder to spice up our meals. Skewers for s’mores and kabobs and bbq tools were also handy to have. Will def pack lighter next time! The game room was so much fun and such a nice addition when we wanted to stay inside. We also took advantage of the paddle boat to spend some time exploring the lake (canoe and kayak also provided). Beautiful sunrises and sunset by the water were a joy to start and end our day. The hosts were always quick to respond whenever we needed to get in touch. They even left us goodies like a s’mores kit, popcorn, coffee and teas, bug spray etc. Tons of firewood to spend hours by the fire pit every night. Even though we were surrounded by nature, we didn’t spot any bugs inside the cottage which was a nice surprise. Everything was above and beyond our expectations.
