Town: Situated in the lower reaches of Wensleydale, the historic market town of Masham is located alongside the River Ure. Set in gently rolling farmland, the town boasts a huge market square, home to both a Wednesday and Saturday market. The town also has a good range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs. The popular towns of Ripon and Harrogate are an easy drive away and offer multiple services and activities for visitors.
Booked this cottage through Sykes Booking agent very dissapointed
Positive comments very good location, property has free parking and was warm. Negative side living room furniture very shabby and dirty with holes that had been patched to the arm of the sofa. We had a problem with flies in the upstairs bedroom which made that area of the property uninhabitable.
We complained to the owner during our stay and also to Sykes- owner stated that there had been a problem with cluster flies which had been dealt with.It is
such a shame to find a holiday let in such a nice location that has not been maintained by its owner and still expects to earn an income from decent paying customers
