Holiday Rental House
Conveniently located, three bedroom cottage just a minute walk from the activity of the town of Tobermory. Big Tub Harbour is just a short walk from the cottage, and a public access known locally as 'the GAP' is a great place for experienced swimmers to enjoy the water, or to take in a sunset. The main living area of the cottage is a comfortable place to relax after a busy day of hiking the trails, or enjoying a boat tour. Two couches and a chair provide seating for everyone in the group to unwind and enjoy the television and DVD/Blu-ray player. Two large windows and a darling front porch help create a bright space. The eat-in kitchen at the cottage has all the amenities necessary including fridge, stove and microwave. The kitchen table here seats 6 comfortably. The main living area of the cottage is a comfortable place to relax after a busy day of hiking the trails, or enjoying a boat tour. The eat-in kitchen at the cottage has all the amenities necessary including fridge, stove and microwave. The kitchen table here seats 6 comfortably. For additional table space, there are four wooden TV trays provided. This is also the perfect place for a game of cards, or a puzzle. There are three bedrooms at the cottage. Two bedrooms are located on the second storey of the cottage. Bedroom one has two doubles; bedroom two has a set of single beds as bunk beds. A third bedroom is located on the main floor, with a queen sized bed. The main family room also has two pull-out couches that provide an additional two double beds. There is one 3 piece bathroom on the main floor of the cottage with a shower, toilet and sink. There is an additional two piece bathroom on the upper level with a toilet and sink. There is a mudroom at the back of the cottage with a washer and dryer for your personal use. You will however, need to provide your own soap and softener. This is also a great place to store your scuba equipment or hiking gear. Please do not touch any equipment in the mudroom pertaining to the well, water or electrical systems. Outside of the cottage there is a large front yard and a forested back lot (approx. 66’ x 200’) for children to play. There is also almost 400 square feet of deck for you to relax, look out over the harbour or people watch. This cottage allows you to enjoy the proximity to the Tobermory Harbour and leave your car parked in the driveway instead of fighting to find somewhere to park downtown. In the scenic Village of Tobermory you can stroll through the shops, visit the library, experience the restaurants and take in the beautiful natural harbour. You can also take a boat cruise where you view shipwrecks, and also visit lighthouses on Flowerpot Island. Sunset dinner cruises to Manitoulin Island aboard the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry are also very popular and last about 2 hours. For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the Bruce Peninsula is a virtual playground! A 10 minute drive away, guided tours are available along the Niagara Escarpment, or the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron. Bruce Peninsula National Park also offers many programs through their Visitor’s Centre and Cyprus Lake Campground. Whatever your interests, you're sure to be in love with Tobermory! More

We will have a greeter staying just a few cottages away from your group during your stay. This greeter will meet you at the property on check in to walk you through the cottage, answer your questions and assist you in any way possible. Remember we only do check ins from 9am - 10pm. If you need a later arrival please arrange that before you book as not all cottages have this option available.
