Our 2 Bdrm condo is located on the south side of the island of Barbados on Maxwell Coast road, about halfway between the airport and Bridgetown. It is walking distance to Oistins fish market and St. Lawrence Gap where there is plenty of restaurants and nightlife. We offer short term (7days) rentals for those who want to be close enough to the action when it suits them, but far enough away to get some peace and quiet when they want to relax. The unit is fully equipped. There is air conditioning in each of the bedrooms and satellite tv in the living room. All you need to bring is your beach towel! The condo is a 5 min walk to popular maxwell beach and the complex includes a small pool and jazuzzi tub. Water sports are avail at the near by beach a short walk away. There is a store located 2...

Clean, quiet and close to everything!

My wife and I spent 4 weeks in the condo (our 2 friends 3 weeks). It was clean and the service was excellent. David, the owner was prompt in answering our requests. Patrick, the manager, and Roslyn, the cleaning lady, did a great job at making our stay thoroughly enjoyable, We had an isssue with the air conditioning in the bedroom and they did a great job in getting the problem resolved. The condo is just accross the road from the beach and within walking distance to everything you need. The wifi can be hit and miss. We did get a fan while the air conditioning was down and I would suggest keepng the fan in the condo to cool down the living area since the air conditioning is in the bedrooms only. We would not hesitate to return...we highly recommend the condo.

Great place to stay

If you're looking for a place to stay, I would highly suggest to stay at Tappin's Island Condo Barbados. All the necessities you need are included at his place. Whether you want to walk to a nearby beach or lounge at the pool located on the premises. Maxwell beach is located across the road and you can use the loungers or chairs in Dave's condo. We enjoyed Miami beach which is a 20 minute walk. You can rent loungers for the day for $10.00 Bajan dollars. Oistins fish fry is a great place to get a dinner at night. Fish, chicken, pork and the great sides that go with them (macaroni pie is to die for). But the best thing about Barbados is definitely the local Barbadians that we would meet or talk to everyday. Very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to all to visit this great island.
