Savor the peace of the ancient hamlet of Porciano with its stunning Castle, stone paved walkway and centuries old church.
The hamlet includes some antique tuscan cottages, entirely restored, furnished and equipped, built in the area once occupied by the age-old walls which surrounded the Castle. The stone cottages have been renovated by the Castle owner respecting their original look and decorated with family furniture which gives them a feeling of coziness and warmth.
The House of the Dragonfly is a stone cottage shaded by an ancient Concord grape pergola.
The two floor cottage is composed of a charming living room with couch and comfortable seats plus an antique table for four people. The lovely and efficient kitchen has gas burners, electric oven, refrigerator, washing machine and microwave, plus table and seats for four people.

The Borgo del Castello di Porciano offers the peace and hospitality of the upper valley of the Arno River, Casentino.
The owner of the Castle of Porciano has restored and decorated some antique tuscan cottages built in the area once occupied by the age-old walls which surrounded the Castle.
The stone cottages have been renovated respecting their original look and decorated with family furniture which gives a feeling of coziness and warmth. In this small village, at the foot of its Castle, you will be able to experience and explore the natural and artistic beauty of this lesser known corner of Tuscany.
The village stands at 600 meters above sea level, and is only one mile away (1.5 km) from the lovely small town of Stia, built where the Arno and Staggia rivers meet.
