VillaVue offers beautiful unrestricted sea views. There is a tidal pool, swings on the green for the kids, rockpools, lovely walking areas along the beach front & hiking trails on the coastline, even all the way to the Danger Point lighthouse, which can be entered at a small fee. You can go fishing off the harbour wall, kayaking when conditions permit or even play a little bit of golf on the village course. The African penguin sanctuary is close by, and when it's whale watching season the area offers great spotting opportunities.
The house is unfortunately not wheel chair friendly.
Parking is available on the paved area in front of the garage, or within the cul de sac.
The facilities are entirely yours to enjoy. You can reach me via WhatsUp or SMS (texting) for any assistance.
A once-off cleaning fee of R850 along with a refundable breakage fee of R1500 apply, the latter only being refundable within 14 days post the end of your stay.
Pre-cooked food can be arranged in advance.
There is a chauffeur / shuttle service available which can be arranged.
A small shop is available at the fueling station around the corner for limited convenience shopping. There is a SuperSpar and OKFood in the close-by village of Gansbaai about 3km away where all your convenience shopping could be done. Fresh fish could be bought at the Gansbaai Fish Market in the Gansbaai harbour. Fernkloof Nature Reserve offers great hiking in the mountains at Hermanus.
When you travel through the Overberg between Caledon & Akkedisberg Pass, you'll spot our national bird, the Blue Crane, in the fields next to the road.
The Great White Shark cage diving expeditions leave from the harbour that is almost on our door step, with the nearby Walker Bay / De Kelders being the whale watching spot of the area, better than Hermanus.
There are also quad biking, horse riding, ocean caves exploration & a big cat sanctuary visit to be considered.

Just what you would expect from the photos - a lovely place with an exceptional sea view!! Perfect place to while away the hours with a good glass of wine :)
Very safe area for jogs and walks. Lots of restaurants and nice local shops in the surrounding towns just a stone throw away.
We had an amazing stay!

This is an amazing family house with everything inside. Nothing needed. The fireplace is a winner! I will visit again and will recommend it to every one.

This luxurious and modern house is very spacious and has stunning sea views especially from the living area which is situated on the third floor. Easy access to the beach, harbor and restaurant lends this house for total relaxation.
But if you must cook, this well equipped open plan kitchen with its spectacular sea view is the place to do so. The indoor and outdoor “braai” areas are an added benefit for any barbeque lover.
During early evening the best spot in the house is the high table in the front corner of the living area. Here you can sit for hours with a glass of wine in hand and watch the lovely sunsets color the sky all kinds of pink.
Bertha is very attentive to your needs and is an excellent host. We will certainly recommend this accommodation to any one and will certainly return for another visit.

What a breath-taking property! 2 minute walk to the harbour, 1 minute walk to fine dining. Wakening up with spectacular sunrises and going to bed with a stunning sunset. Exquisite leisure at an affordable price. Although the complete stay was absolutely perfect one has to mention the perfect relaxing showers (which felt like a spa) and the super luxurious bedding. That fireplace must be an winner during winter. The table tennis triggered great entertainment.

We had the beste time, stunning views, we could sit in the lounge while watching the whales play in the nearby water.
We had toddlers in our group and they loved the open spaces and playing in the rock pools.
The house is very neat and has everything you my need.
Will definitely go back.

The home is an absolute jewel and worth visiting over and over! The views are spectacular with the ocean right on your doorstep. Kleinbaai is a lovely village with a fantastic restaurant right around the corner of Villa Vue. The house is tastefully furnished, was extremely clean on arrival and has enough space to allow each person some quite time when needed. The booking process took place without any hassles and with very friendly and helpful service. We had a lovely time at Villa Vue and I would recommend it a thousand times over. Best place in the Western Cape.

Bookings for activities could be made on-line or at The Great White House around the corner.
