Four of us plus a dog stayed for a few days at Christmas. The property was generally well-equipped, although the kitchen is limited by not having a microwave. Also, accommodation consisted of a double room upstairs, plus a single bed on the upstairs landing and a sofa bed downstairs. We made this work but it might be cramped for a similar or larger group of adults. The owner was very helpful.

Wir haben mit unseren 3 Kindern eine wunderbare Woche auf dem kleinen Bauernhof verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und die Kinder hatten großen Spaß mit den Tieren. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit.

Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer, fijne woning, landelijke omgeving. Je zit dicht bij de natuur, voor uitstapjes en om ter plaatse te geraken is een auto wel heel handig. In de tuin onder de appelbomen is het heerlijk zitten (en dat ze je zelf appels mag nemen van de oogst is ook erg leuk. In het dorp is een zelfbedienings-boerderijwinkeltje dat 24 u per dag open is. Alles gaat in goed vertrouwen daar, heel bijzonder!

We decided on a very cold weekend getaway (it was around -7º to -11ºC) and our search for places to go ended when we found the Wachau valley and Hof Grunfelder. The experience was great from the get-go. They replied to our emails promptly, and when we arrived, they were expecting us with the apartment pre-warmed for our comfort. Stephan was very nice and friendly, provided us with helpful tips and insights about the local area and we even received a gift: a bottle of locally produced schnapps to keep warm... The apartment was very clean and nice, the wood stove in the living room was not only for the romance, but provided ample heat. The bathroom was tip top, better then i had seen in some hotels, and the area is just amazing. The apartment came with everything we needed, it even had a wireless network and we could use our smartphones with it. The whole place is run organically, and the owners even offer some of their own farm produce for sale. In addition, they offer the possibility of a delicious organic breakfast for only €5 per person. Wish we knew about this before hand, as we would have definitely ordered it. It was very easy to find, the description on the internet was very accurate, i would possibly say that the place is even better than what can be gathered from the description on the internet. The customer service we received from the owners was amazing (Agnes even went as far as to research where we could go ice skating!) Overall, despite the freezing cold we had an amazing stay and will definitely be back again.

We came all the way from Israel and spent 2 whole ...
We came all the way from Israel and spent 2 whole weeks on this lovely little family farm. The cottage was comfortable and clean and had everything we expected, and the owners were welcoming and helpful. The farm is located in a beautiful area, and we enjoyed our long walks in the area, and also our visits to the Danube Valley, the Melk Monastry, The Gardens in Tulln -and other nice places - all within a relatively short distance from the farm.

Die Lage der Wohnung war hervorragend zur Erkundun...
Die Lage der Wohnung war hervorragend zur Erkundung von Niederösterreich, Wien und Linz (Programm der Niederösterreich-Card ist super!). Stefan und Agnes sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns in den Tagesablauf des Hofes eingebunden. So kümmerten wir uns um die drei Hühner und hatten drei Wochen lang frische Eier. Klasse! Die Wohnung ist hübsch und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Sie ist eher für Familien mit kleineren Kindern geeignet. Es war ein toller Urlaub. Sehr zu empfehlen!
