We stayed here for a week in early December 2022, and it was a great base for our first visit to Tenerife. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, and we loved the views from the roof terrace and balcony. The complex has a large and attractive pool area, as well as a children’s paddling pool. Both of these were rarely used during our visit, so it felt like our private pool! Parking was very easy outside the apartment, and the wifi signal was strong.
Because it is a very quiet and mostly residential area on top of a hill at the edge of Costa Adeje, there are few restaurants nearby. However, we enjoyed the pizza and atmosphere at All’Italiana (Avenida Virgen de Guadalupe). There are two small supermarkets near there. The restaurants near Playa del Duque tend to be more expensive. There are many cheaper restaurants and bars near Fañabé beach, which are approximately 25 minutes walk downhill, and 30 minutes back up the steep hills.
Playa del Duque (12-15 minutes walk downhill) has two beaches: north has black sand and south has golden sand. Both were good for swimming.
The only suggestions for improvement are an information pack for visitors (eg maps, restaurant suggestions, emergency contact details), a couple of international TV channels, and a knife for cutting bread.
