We’ve recently returned from a wonderful ten day holiday with our two children and two other families. 11 of us in total. The property is simply stunning, a huge kitchen dining area, beautiful en-suite bedrooms and a wonderful large outdoor kitchen/entertainment area next to the pool where we spent many hours day and night. It felt luxurious and a real haven away from any hustle and bustle. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and play and for the adults to relax. In total we were three families and with en-suite bathrooms in all the bedrooms it never felt like we were on top of each other. The surrounding views of vineyards and rolling hills make for magical sunrises and plenty of footpaths if you want to explore. The stars at night were equally stunning. The closest village is only a few minutes drive away, or you could cycle on one of the properties bikes. It’s a lovely friendly atmospheric village with several shops/cafes and a bakery. Lots of places within 15-30 driving distance, various towns/markets, swimming lakes (great for kids!) and medieval towns/ruins to explore. We visited a fort near by several times for amazing ice cream and one evening had a lovely meal at a restaurant there. Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful, always on hand if we needed any advice on where to go and even offers of help for evening meals. The friendly doggies were absolutely loved by the children. I would absolutely recommend this large luxurious retreat, especially if you are looking to get away from it all and swim/relax/eat huge amounts of cheese and generous servings of wine with friends or family. We even managed a bit of yoga! We had soooo much fun! Thank you.
