Close to Aix en Provence with markets, shops and restaurants to suit all. The house itself was spacious and well equipped, all mod cons. (microwave, washing machine, air conditioning). The swimming pool has a God-send as it was so hot. Also there were people who came and kept in clean and maintained.
Drive up to La Tholonet and go to the village there with restaurants and bar and the amazing Les Lodges which has a Michelin star restaurant and spa etc.
Access to the A8 means driving to Avignon or Marseilles is about 45 mins door to door.
We were late to due to black Saturday traffic (stuck for several hours) but Marie the agency rep, waited for us and was great. She speaks excellent English and helped me with my poor French. She explained the house, what was to be used (everything) and made herself available of we needed any assistance during our stay.
