Giardino di Limoni - with heated swimming pool, open 24 hours a day from January to December - is eco-friendly villa 7 sleeps. 350 mt from the sea, in 2 hectare of lemons garden and tropical fruits. Wifi, air conditioning. Electric car charger. Enjoy with our small production of honey, extra virgin olive oil, Nero d’Avola wine.
Our Villa is 350 mt away from sand beach, in Lido di Noto, known as Noto Marina.
Totally autonomous villa, 80 sqm + 40 sqm veranda, independent gate, free parking. Outside extra shower.
The villa is in a very quiet and wide lemons garden. There are 20,000 sqm garden of lemon wood, tropical fruit trees, olives grove and vineyard. We have one donkey and some others small animals. Fresh chicken eggs every day for our guests.

Perfect place to relax, beautiful huge green space. Great value!
Our family loved this place so much we decided to extend our stay. The house is nice and has everything a family needs, but the highlight is for sure the beautiful garden and surrounding farm. Peaceful, green perfect for relaxing for hours, a green oasis... and a small pool, playground and farm animals...a paradise for our kid. The host Gioacchino is very helpful and professional. Strongly recommended

Great location and facilities
Just what we wanted to do lots of walking - the nature reserve is great - then chill out on the beach. I have never seen so many free, sandy beaches in Italy, and being September they were not at all crowded. perfect break.

The big attraction are the wonderful (mainly) lemon garden and the animals, which our 1 1/2 year old daughter loved. There is another house on the same property, but it is far enough and well hidden behind plants, so you will not see your neighbours, unless you walk to their house.
The size of our house was almost luxury for a family of three, as we did not use the living room, but spent most of the day on the terrace. There were mosquitoes in the evening, but with a bit of repellent they gave up. It was slightly harder to get rid of the cats, who will be around while you are eating unless you are disciplined and do not give them food. Everything in the house was in excellent condition and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped.
A baby cot and a high chair were kindly provided for our daughter. We also really appreciated the beach toys and accessories (eg, chairs, parasols). We found a few minor things would have been useful to have (eg, washing powder, cloth, good mosquito appliance), so we ended up buying them and leaving them in the house for the next guests.
Otherwise the location is great. While we were there, some hotel on the beach played loud music every evening, mostly between 10pm and midnight. So we were glad to be 500 yards away from the beach and not closer.
We went once or twice to the beach in Lido di Noto, but we found the Tellaro Eloro beach better, as there were less people and no facilities, and we could get there within 10 min. by car.
For eating out there are some options in Lido di Noto, and we also went to Noto and Avola (within 20 min by car) where there is a bigger range. There is a small convenience store close to the beach that will have most of things you need, but is not cheap. If you want a supermarket, you will have to drive to Avola or Noto.
The owner was helpful, informal and discreet. We could communicate well in English. He does not live on the property, but comes by frequently to look after the garden, mostly while you are away. We had an issue with the WiFi, and he reacted quickly. Be prepared to pay the full amount on the first day, unlike other places in Italy where you pay on the last day.
Overall great experience and highly recommended for a family with children.

Great hospitality - quiet stay
We stayed in the Lemon Garden one week in August 2013. We enjoyed our stay very much. Gioacchino made a lot of effort to make us feel at home, and gave us some nice tips for trips in the neighbourhood, and restaurants to go to.
The house was very clean and well situated nearby the beach (a 10 minutes walk), but just far enough from the beach to have a quiet holiday and very little noise. There was also a shop very close (5 minutes walk), where you could also buy freshly prepared sandwiches for a picknick.
Lido di Noto is well situated to do excursions to Siracusa, Cavagrande, etc.

Zauberhaft - wunderschöner, grüner Garten und hübsches Haus
Wir waren begeistert!! Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen im Lemon Garden verbracht. Der Garten ist riesig und tatsächlich voller Zitronen- und Orangenbäume. Der Rasen wird täglich gewässert und ist ein weicher grüner Teppich. Ideal zum Toben und Rennen für Kinder und zum Schauen für Erwachsene. Die Bäume werfen angenehmen Schatten und auch in der größten Mittagshitze kann man wunderbar entspannt auf der großen, schattigen Terrasse sitzen und entspannen. Der Garten ist umzäunt / abgeschlossen, so dass kein Kind verloren gehen kann...
Gleich 20m vom Haus entfernt wohnen zudem 2 Esel und ein Pferd, 8 Hühner und einige Katzen. Für Kinder wirklich toll! Aus dem Garten darf man zudem Tomaten, Auberginen, Zucchini, Mandeln, und frische Hühnereier nehmen.
Der Eigentümer ist sehr nett und steht für alle Fragen zur Verfügung! (Wenn man das Glück hat zur Weinernte im Haus zu sein, wird man sogar Teil der Familie und bekommt guten Wein zur Verkostung... :) )
Auch das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet! Es gibt Sonnenschirme, Liegen, Strandstühle, Sandspielzeug....
Der Strand selbst ist auch wirklich nur 350 entfernt und man kann prima hinlaufen, auch mit kleinen Kindern! Der nächste Strand ist ein schöner Sandstrand (für italienische Stadtstrände) und es gibt viele weitere natürliche, sehr schöne Strände in der Nähe...
Wirklich einziges "Manko" (uns hat es nicht wirklich gestört, aber man sollte es wissen) ist recht laute Musik an einigen (nicht allen) Abenden, welche von einem nahen Hotel kommt. Am besten schaut Euch den Weg vor Anreise gut an, denn die Villen in Italien sind nicht beschildert und sonst schwer zu finden:-)

Pleasant holiday home at great location
This holiday home is situated in the middle of a huge lovely garden with lemon trees, ideal for children, who will also like the farm yard animals behind the fence (horse, donkeys, goats, chickens, turkeys). The hospitable owner of the house, Gioacchino, kindly provided us with fruit from the garden and we could have daily fresh eggs from the hens. The garden is shared with the adjacent holiday home, but the garden is large and there is a considerable distance between the houses and the trees in between provide privacy.
The house is not particularly large, but it is functional and it has a nice terrace. It was nice to have Wifi, but most of the time the speed was only sufficient for e-mail and not so much for web browsing.
The location is great: the warm Mediterranean sea is only a 500 m stroll away and a 15 minute drive to the pleasant town of Noto with its baroque Duomo restored after the 1990 collapse. The highway is close by, and it's s relatively short drive to magnificent Syracuse or the hilled cities with baroque churches of Ragusa and Modica or, if you venture further afield, the Pantalica Necropolis or Mount Etna. The coastline south of Syracuse makes for agreeable swimming.

Perfect, excellent, great!!!
I booked this villa in may for coming in august,Gioacchino - very hospitable and caring owner of the villa,during the preparation for the trip quickly answered all the questions on a mail,phone,sms...He sent quickly all documents with payment on my mail.If necessary, he provides a voucher for a visa.We stayed here for a week in august 10-17,Gioacchino helped in all aspects (search for bancomats,taxi, shops...).The villa is very spacious,we had 4 adults and three children - the place sufficed all. Furniture and equipment are new and modern.There are washing machine,dishwasher,boiler for water heating (hot water round the clock).There are everything for cooking. The beds are very comfortable.Considering an august heat in vila`s territory always it`s fresh and pleasant,thanks to the abundance of greenery and trees that are watered automatically at night.Everywhere is green lawn.At the villa there is a paddock with two donkeys,horse,goat,which can feed and touch.The children were delighted - always overfeeded animals.Great advantage of this villa is that the kids are always outside and busy with their own affairs (with animals),so parents & children relax fully equally.Absolutely no insects, so in the evening you can always enjoy your vacation in hammock or on sofa on the terrace.The air is very fragrant thanks to the lemon garden.Gioacchino never came empty - handed is always grapes,apples... His wine and olive oil production is great,we bought a few bottles for home. Gioacchino also produces excellent olive oil soap. Sea very close it`s about 300m on a straight road.The sea is clean and very warm.It`s impossible to describe here all positive emotions from visit this villa.This is the best option for holiday with children.Many thanks once again to Gioacchino for an excellent vacation!!!

Wonderful villa in the lemon grove
We had a fantastic stay here. Nice simple villa, every thing we needed, with fresh daily lemons and oranges from the grove and eggs from the hens. Our 2 year old loved all the farm animals. We walked to the little store each day for our fresh bread, and down to the sea-side for coffees or beer. Giacino was a helpful and friendly host.Location close to visit nearby villages but local transport almost impossible, we thought we could get by without a car for a week, but definitely not.

Nice holiday, as we expected.
Beautiful structure conforms perfectly to what is proposed in the ad. One flaw the proximity of animals on the estate and adjacent areas due to the presence of annoying flies (must obtain to Fly at home or on the patio).

The lush garden and lemon trees together with farm animals (a horse, two donkeys, 2 goats) are the strong point of the house. All children hosted like to give them something to eat and have a great time watching them free to run in open spaces. The animals are housed in an enclosed area away from the house. Any of my guests so far has noticed the presence of many flies. However, the flies, outdoors, in natural surroundings, in the countryside, in some periods of the year are common, with animals or not. If you do not like to live in a natural environment, a small paradise near the sea, you can always choose an apartment in the city, a few meters from the sea! I have one!
