This beautiful architect designed house is south facing, warm, spacious, modern and light filled. The sitting room, with its cathedral ceilings and large glass windows, is ideal for capturing the ever-changing scenery of the sea and mountains. Naomh Iosaef is an ideal and tranquil setting to unwind from the fast pace of life. Everything as shown in listing. Booking could not be easier and house set up to suit each renter. Very child friendly with large secure garden. Central to Achill area. We are just back from our 5th annual holiday which speaks for itself.

About the neighbourhood
Achill island is a Gaeltacht area where English and Irish is spoken. Because of its relative remoteness, it has managed to preserve its unspoilt beauty and still has a very relaxing, laid back ambience. The scenery is spectacular by any standards and the Minnaun Hights, the highest cliffs in Europe are about ten minutes drive away. There are many fine beaches and recreational facilities no more than 20 minutes drive away including, watersports, fishing, kite surfing, golfing and cycling paths, and walks. Achill also hosts many art galleries, festival and retaurants.

Achill Island is the biggest Island in Ireland and situated on the west coast of Co Mayo. Knock Airport is about an hour away and Shannon airport is a 3 hour journey, and Dublin 4 hours, all by car. Naomh Iosaef is on Google Earth and we will be happy to give you a map when you book. Achill is also an hour's drive from the picturesque town of Westport (voted best place in Ireland to live in 2012).
