We have the biggest piece of rental property in Grand Bend.
The cottage is on 5 acres of land. We are a mile from the main street. We are connected by the rotary nature trail/side walk. Everybody walks down the trail to the main street so that they do not have to pay for car parking. Lots of on site parking. Large 33' x 18' x 57" deep, heated swimming pool (seasonal May to Oct). Great family gathering spot for summer vacation, Christmas, Thanksgiving & Easter or simply to unwind.
First Upper and Second Lower sections have 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with tub and shower, living area, dining area and complete modern kitchen (equipped with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and cleaning supplies). Each section h...

Local by-laws require no loud noise after 9-pm. No tents or trailers allowed. Only registered paid guests allowed on the property at any time. Your private heated pool open 8-am to 10-pm weather permitting. NO glass allowed near pool area. No smoking, No vaping, No marijuana allowed in buildings.

Amazing Weekend
We were very impressed by how good the cottage looked and how amazing the service we got from Mr. Best was. We plan on making this an annual vacation spot. It did not feel like a cottage it felt like a home.

Weekend Getaway
My friends and I rented the cottage for a weekend getaway trip. The cottage was fantastic, as well as the service and cleanliness. Although the walk to main street is a bit far (20 minutes), the pool in the backyard works just as well. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place, and plan to rent again in the future!

Excellent cottage
For the two nights that were spent there, it was well worth every penny. The location is great, only a few minutes walk from the main strip and beach, and right next to an ice cream shop!
The service Mr. Best gave us was great and if i ever need a place to rent in Grand Bend in the future, this is first on my list.

Great Cottage!!
My friends and I rented the upper and lower level of the cottage and they were super nice!!!
It had a nice kitchen with basically all the appliances and a pool!! in the backyard which was pretty good.
It's around 20-25minute walk from the strip which isn't too bad. It was a nice little walk for us.
There was a restaurant/ice cream store right beside the cottage so we didn't have to walk all the way to the strip to get some snacks or meals which was pretty convenient.
All of my friends and I want to go again this summer!!

Great!
The service was wonderful, the home was beautiful and nicely kept. The location was ideal as it was in perfect walking distance to many things. Overall, it was a fantastic time!

Great experience here!
My friends and I rented the upper and lower unit of the Best cottage. Both units were beautiful, clean and comfortable. As a young group of adults we were a little worried about privacy and freedom, but the bests were nothing but kind, accomodating and let us have our fun. The pool was well kept and so much fun. The kitchens were clean and had everything you needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean - beds were awesome! The Bests even leave new shampoos, toothpastes, soaps etc. A great experience here!

Wonderful family time.
The house has all that you could ask for in a relaxing, family-friendly environment. The pool was perfect for our 5 year-old and the temperature was always ideal. The backyard also provided a good campfire site so it really did feel like you were at the cottage. The front is on a busy highway but if you're in the back or at the beach, you don't notice.
The owners were very attentive as well.

Pleasant and very clean
we rented the 1 bedroom cottage for 3 nights in august, it was a pleasant surprise. Liked that it is clean, it has a nice deck with bbq and the pool, good location as well. Disliked the morning traffic, it's right on the #21 and wish the bathroom sink was a bit larger. Hope to return next summer.

Best Week of My Life
My friends and I stayed in the top unit and we had other friends staying in the bottom unit. We had absolutely the best time of our lives and Dave was 100% respectful to us. If we asked him for out help, he would come over right away. We will for sure be back next year!

awesome cottage!
All the best one cottage is a great place to stay! We had a group of 20 over this past may long weekend and we don't have a single bad word to say about this place! The owners are very friendly and keep the pool clean. The cottage is huge and great for a whole group if you rent the entire place! We will for sure rent this place again!

How to get there
We have parking at the cottage for 5 to 6 cars. Unlimited or oversized parking at our other property next door if needed. 1.6 k South from the #21 & #81 intersection. Right hand side U shaped driveway past the big BEST'S sign. Cottage is red brick with black roof. 369 Ontario Street South (highway #21).
If coming North on highway #21 into Grand Bend we are on the left shortly after you pass the Grand Bend welcome sign. One property past the first left turning lane. If you see or pass the BEST'S sign, Laundromat & Car Wash you have gone past the property.
