Splendid & superb
Wow, what a wonderful part of Ireland. Our hosts, Walter & Eileen made us feel very welcome. The house is one of the best we've ever stayed in. It is ideally located within walking distance of the village and is perfect for exploring Kerry. It is very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. We hope to return again and again to this fabulous area. Highly recommend this cottage in Portmagee to anyone wishing to visit Kerry. Thanks again to Walter & Eileen.

Amazing amazing amazing
I want to say how awesome this house was. Just beautiful, the sceneray was gorgeous and just breath taking. The owners Walter and Eileen were so helpful, kind and just all around wonderful people. They checked in with us half way through our trip and greeted us upon out arrival. It really is an amazing place to stay. Port Magee is stunning and perfect if you are looking to stay in County Kerry. We had an all around amazing trip and wish we could have stayed for the rest of our lives.

Great cottage in a great location.
Portmagee is an is a lovely village off the coast of Kerry - a great base for us to explore the ring of Kerry and ideal place to stay if you want to visit the Skellig islands. The cottage is situated in a quiet but dramatic location with views of the mountains and Valentia island and only 5 min walk to the village with a selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. The cottage was well equipped, clean and well maintained by the owners who were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely book this cottage again if we ever come back to this lovely part of Ireland.

Its all about the location
I've stayed in and around Portmagee many times before so knew what to expect in terms of scenery and restaurants/bars. The purpose of my trip was a weeks Bass fishing with my Dad and Uncle. This was the perfect place for what I had in mind. Close enough to the pubs and all the area's I wanted to fish. I will be looking at coming back to this cottage again very soon. Really nice people that own the cottage, friendly and very welcoming!!!

Beautiful location
Portmagee is an outstanding little village and this property is ideally situated to enjoy the area. A short walk into the village and you have the lovely little harbour and two excellent pubs both serving first class food. The cottage itself is well equipped and Walter and Eileen were perfect hosts, leaving us alone but always available if we had questions. Wifi was excellent and cost us about 20 euros for the week, good value for the quality of the connection. I would highly recommend this property for anybody wishing to explore the beautiful Valentia Island and its surroundings.
