Swallow Cottage is a cosy one bedroom cottage converted from an old stone barn. It looks out over a large field with beautiful Oak trees dotted about. The bedroom consists of a king size bed and a large puffy duvet. This bed can also be split if a twin room would be preferable. Adjacent to the cottage is Swallows Nest, our twin bed shepherd's hut which is ideal if you have kids who like their space and this is included with Swallow Cottage It consist of twin beds and wall mounted flat screen TV. The kitchen/living area is comfortable clean and well equipped with everything you should need for a self catering break. The tv has hundreds of freeview channels including music stations. You are offered full use of The Secret Garden which is a large garden area with patios, fairy lights in the trees and use of a bbq and fire pit available to rent (subject to availability, we do not provide charcoal or wood).

We strongly request that guests adhere to our very easy to follow recycling and waste system and please leave the property as you would expect to find it. Great stay!
We of Why no Love want to thank all of you for the amazing stay we had - rented the entire place and this was no issue. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We were with a group of 12 throughout the week (with 15 max) for our yearly meeting. It was great! Very secluded, and for everyone there was a chance to just be on their own (be it through walks, the garden or the living room in one of the cottages). The garden was amazing and very cozy in the evenings to gather round with the lights. Dogs were very friendly and super sweet (some of the guys loved them - as did I!)

About the neighbourhood
Even though we are set in a very quiet, rural area we are also in very easy reach of beaches, Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Bay, Principality and Cardiff City Stadiums. There are lovely countryside walks from here but we urge you to keep to the Countryside Code, a copy of which is in our information pack kept in the Cottage. Cowbridge Market Town is 15 minute drive away with an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants and the beautiful Physic garden. Just 3 miles away you will find two retail parks with pretty much every shop you can think of with plenty of parking.
Getting around
The X2 bus service runs between Cardiff, Cowbridge and Talbot Green, however, the service only runs between limited times. The Valley line runs from Pontyclun park and ride to Cardiff. Taxis are available but need to be booked in advance.
