Our gorgeous luxury Shepherd's Hut, 'The Hideaway' is settled in our beautiful Secret Garden with full use of the patios with fairy lighting to the hedges and uplighting to the trees. Full use of the bbq, fire pit and garden furniture subject to availability. The hut consists of a double bed made with luxury linen which can then fold up to the wall ready for the table to fold out for breakfast/dinner. However, on balmy summer nights relax with a lovely cold glass of your favourite tipple on the deck or use the patios etc as mentioned. There is a well equipped kitchenette to cook a traditional welsh breakast, pancakes or just some coffee and toast. Or an evening meal. Parties are considered subject to prior discussion. We have a strict but simple recycling system that is to be adhered to. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and kept off the bed. We are always available should you encounter any issues.
Taking this review separated from the others as it was just me and my partner in here. Very cozy Shepherd's hut (honestly never heard of these before!). The bed was surprisingly comfortable! Despite it being small it was a very comfortable stay and it didn't feel too small! The kitchen as well as the bath room were sufficient. Would really recommend this for small romantic getaways.

About the neighbourhood
We are set down a very peaceful, country lane surrounded by fields. However, believe it or not, access to Junction 34 of the M4 is just 2 miles drive! It is very quiet here set in well maintained grounds with a beautiful and large, well manicured garden. Access to Cardiff, Cowbridge, beaches, local pubs etc lends us to be a perfect base for exploring.
Getting around
There is a local bus service, however, this only runs up to 6pm. There is the opportunity for park and ride from Pontyclun and Fairwater. Taxi’s are available but by preorder!
