We spent almost 2 Weeks in Lairg (en Luirg) and enjoyed every day - even though the weather was not optimal. The House has excellent space and facilities - all in great shape (almost new). It is a little on the side of Lairg - we enjoyed that. You can reach all that is good in the Highlands (Fishing, Nature, Whiskey Destilleries, multiple Restaurants etc. within Minutes to max. an Hour). In Lairg itselfe you find Places to eat and shop. Paul the Owner was very helpfull and flexible. Roy (the property manager) is Gold - he was super helpfull, supportive and fun to chat with. We absolutely recommend this House!

5/10 walk into centre village. i would recommend The Pier Cafe (15 min walk) for lunch or dinner, really great food in nice surroundings on the loch.

Excellent self catering place used as a base for walking. Larger than it appears on the website and scrupulously clean. Generally very well equipped - though, oddly, without a tea pot or coffee maker - and extremely good Wi-Fi (for Highland Scotland). Would certainly stay again.

Well furnished and clean. Bedrooms are small but who cares. We're not here to sleep much. Roy, the caretaker, is a hoot -- funny and helpful.

Had a great time in this modern but rustic cottage. The cottage has been refurbished and furnished to a very high standard in a modern/contemporary style. The cottage had all the mod cons including a large screen tv and very high speed broadband. The cottage sits on a large piece of land close to the lake and has easy access to restaurants, pubs and shops. Most importantly the cottage was right on the NC500 so it was central to all major attractions. Paul was a great host and I look forward to coming back again in the near future.

We booked this beautiful Lairg Cottage for a well-deserved weekend break and we were not disappointed. The property was immaculate and very well equipped including free business broadband/Wifi (Great for work and the kids). The setting was very peaceful with great walks, cycling and fishing nearby at Shin Loc. Fishing was free without a permit. The owner Paul was very helpful and we hope to return again later this year. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a break away from it all.
