The Moat is safe for families and offers an escape for anyone wishing to relax or anyone wishing to enjoy activities such as walking, running, cycling, golf, fishing, hill-walking or tennis.

We stayed here for 5 nights over Easter. Very warm welcome and tour of the house from Paul, scones and jam were a lovely touch and very tasty. House was very comfortable, spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Fabulous views. Great location between the beach and the Greenway. Just a few minutes drive into Dungarvan for supplies. Plenty to do in the area. Would stay again.

Fabulous stay on the sea!
Hard to describe how amazing this property is! Such a picturesque property right on the coast with a nice patio and large lawn out back. The apartment had everything we could want and plenty of space! Eileen was a great host and made sure check-in was smooth and that we had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a special place to stay during their trip to Ireland!

Superb apartment in a superb location. This apartment and propriety deserve all the good reviews. The apartment is very well equiped, spotlessly clean. Amazing offering from Eileen who couldn't have been more helpful. The scones on arrival are a wonderful touch. Wonderful family weekend away. Thanks Eileen for everything.

Ideal seaside retreat
Beautiful apartment overlooking the sea from sunrise to sunset with the moon and stars sparkling the evening views.Peaceful setting near the Waterford Greenway Bike trail.Kitchen is well equipped ,bedrooms comforting,the living room with a fireplace is comfy cozy.Nearby the village of Dungarvan and the city of Waterford and the Mahen Falls. Copper Coast Scenic Drive is at the end of the driveway.Wonderful place.

Ideal holiday-home at Waterford Greenway and the sea
Wonderful, large, very clean apartment with everything you need.
Great view on beach and the sea. Very friendly owner.
Dungarvan (5 km) has many pubs and restaurants and a nice harbour.
We rent bikes and drove some kilometres on the Waterford Greenway, which was very, very amazing! Thanks a lot for all!

From Dublin Airport:
Exit the airport and follow the signs for M1 ramp to City Centre /M50
Keep following signs for M50 Southbound. Keep on M50 southbound for 1.2km.
At Junction 9, take N7, exit to Limerick/Cork/Waterford/N8/N9
Merge on to N7 & stay on N7 for 17km.
Exit on to M9: signed for Waterford/Kilkenny/Kilcullen- travel for approx 120km.
At Quarry roundabout, take 1st Exit, for 500m
At Grannagh Junction roundabout, take the 3rd exit on to N25-signed fro Dungarvan/Cork. Toll bridge on this road.
At the Carrick road roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on the N25 for approx 30km.
Turn left on to L3011, signposted for Ballinroad and brown signpost for Clonea Strand.
After 800m, just past Dungarvan Golf Club (on your right, take 1st Left and drive straight through Ballinroad village.
At roundabout, take 1st Left on to R765 signposted Tramore and travel approx 1 km.
Take 1st right on to L3014, Brown signpost for Clonea Strand.
Travel 500m, Drive way is on the left, signed Clonea Castle Residences.
