Well equipped and presented modern house, centrally situated in Port Erin and ideal for a holiday on the lovely Isle of Man, where the roads don’t have pot holes!

This is not 5 star accommodation and doesn’t deliver value for money
Large new build 4 bed detached house situated at the end of a cup de sac. There are no views and you’re very overlooked by the neighbouring flats However It is a good location to tour the island The bathrooms and kitchen are high spec. Unfortunately the rest of the house is let down by cheap bedroom furniture and don’t expect a comfortable nights sleep ! The beds are the most uncomfortable beds we had the misfortune to use. None of us had one night without broken sleep due to poor mattress , thin old quilts and hard pillows, all very pleased to get home into own beds .. The house was very clean on arrival but the jacuzzi needs servicing as its not a pleasant experience when there’s black bits floating in the water ! Oven also needs servicing as doesn’t work properly Garden is a sun trap Doors between lounge and diner don’t work Noisy heating system Based on the points above and taking into consideration the cost which we is very expensive the house does not deliver value for money and our overriding memory of the house will unfortunately be the awful beds …

Fantastic house
Stayed for a week in the arches for a week the house is fantastic and has everything you need with very high standard of finish and was spot less when we arrived plus it is in a top location, to explore the island.

Wedding holiday
Booked The Arches for a family visit to the IOM to attend a wedding. It’s a lovely place - clean, attractive modern decor and furnishings. It’s a short walk from the supermarket which is handy for self-catering. We have been lucky enough to have had nice enough weather to sit out in the garden and have a bbq. Port Erin is a lovely seaside resort and a good base to explore the island. The steam train to Douglas is a short walk away.

Excellent house in great part of the island.
We stayed in this house for a week in May. It was very comfortably and well equipped, both in terms of beds, lounge and kitchen spaces and plenty of bathrooms to go around. There was a very thoughtful welcome hamper with good quality coffee, biscuits, granola, bread, butter and milk. The house is in a quiet road, but just through a cut through to the main shops, beach, steam train station and bus stop with regular buses. We did hire a car for half the week but you could manage with the odd taxi plus public transport to get around. We did some fabulous coastal walks and you can see seals from the coast. Other sea mammals also possible, if lucky but the basking sharks weren't showing up when we were around. We thought that corner of the island was the best and would return there in future, hopefully with better weather.

Excellent holiday rental.
The property was very well equipped with good facilities. It was finished to a high standard and was eco friendly. John was very helpful and accommodating, we had a six week old baby with us and the cot was ready on arrival. The location was brilliant, a short walk to restaurants, transport and the beach. Plenty of off road parking space. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for later in the year.
