A Little Gem.
Myself and my partner booked this cottage for the last week in September and it was fantastic. It was rural but not isolated and was fully equipped with everything you would expect or need. The decor was understated but beautiful and it is perfectly situated for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. Unfortunately the weather was dire for almost the whole week but the cottage was cosy and warm. There is a beautiful garden to sit out in during the warmer, drier months with open views of the surrounding fields. Absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely return.

Very comfortable cottage in Suffolk
This cottage had everything we needed for a very good week's holiday. It's been carefully renovated by the owners with a modern bathroom and kitchen without losing its character. We particularly enjoyed visits to Southwold and Constable country, both less than an hour away

Perfect stay!
Upon arrival Amanda was very welcoming, we would of given more than 5* if were possible. The cottage has everything you could possibly need on a holiday or in general to be honest, from well stock utensils in the kitchen, Washing machine, air dryer, dishwasher and even a lovely toasty log burner which was a huge bonus for us. There were no faults or complaints we could possibly write down as everything was top to bottom clean, and even had a carton of Milk, white wine and butter already in the fridge which we appreciated and are thankful for. We really recommend this fabulous cottage to stay in and would love to come back for another holiday! Thank you Amanda, kind regards Holly and Zack.

Lovely, cosy, perfectly equipped, clean and rural cottage
Lovely rural location, quiet and very little noise from the neighbours. Very good location to explore Suffolk. Beach, Newmarket and Cambridge about 1 hours drive, many lovely gardens and NT properties nearby. Cottage is lovely and cosy, very clean, well equipped with sharp kitchen knives (!). Excellent beds. We certainly recommend it!

Relaxing
In total agreement with other reviews, a lovely cottage in a very quiet and peaceful location. Amanda is lovely and met us on arrival, making us feel very welcome including our little King Charles Spaniel Mr Findley. The cottage is lovely, incredibly clean and well kept with lots of nice little touches in what was obviously a loving restoration, comes with a good broadband connection, TV, Music etc and a nice kitchen should you require it. It’s a perfect place for those looking to explore East Anglia or simply escape for a while in a relaxing environment. We only live in Essex, but we had such a nice peaceful week. Would definitely use again when in that part of Suffolk. Many thanks to Amanda. Excellent.

One of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed at!
What can I say! This home is truly amazing! We will for sure be staying here again. It had everything you could possibly need. It was immaculate! The host thought of everything. After coming from another vacation home that was terrible, this was a delight to come to. It's such a beautiful and cozy cottage. With comfortable beds and a t.v in the master bedroom, what more could you ask for. Amanda was so nice to speak with and she thought about everything a guest could possibly need. Thank you Amanda for making our stay enjoyable!

Great for someone looking for peace and quiet
Cosy Cottage is the perfect location to relax and unwind in rural Suffolk. It's a great place for anyone who enjoys walking or biking. Other attractions are available within a short driving distance. The cottage is adorably decorated and very comfortable - with everything you need right there. We had a very pleasant stay and we hope to do so again someday.

Superb, refurbished, cosy country cottage...every practical requirement catered for!
If you love the countryside..this cottage is for you..great for romantic couples, four friends..or..indeed a family getaway. Rural location it is (lovely walking in any direction from the cottage)..but only a 10 minute drive to Stowmarket and the supermarkets and many services it offers...wonderful fish and chips at Stowupland..a short drive away. Up to the minute, stylish, clean and functional..renovated period country cottage with every conceivable need catered for...highly recommended.

About the neighbourhood
The village of Mendlesham is two miles away with a small general shop offering excellent free range eggs and fresh bread and a fish & chip shop. Just six miles away is the market town of Stowmarket offering leisure and shopping facilities. Further afield lies the Suffolk coast with the beautiful coastal towns of Southwold, home of the famous brewery and pier, Aldeburgh with the nearby Snape Maltings and Walberswick, which is great for a spot of crabbing.
