Garfield Guest House is located in the heart of historic district of downtown Luray, Virginia. The hundred year old Victorian is the perfect vacation retreat or weekend getaway. Our beautiful Guest House is divided into two fully furnished one bedroom suites, Each well appointed suite offers private full sized eat in kitchens with all major appliances, spacious living rooms, relaxing spa baths and private key coded entrances for your safety and convenience.
Stroll to area restaurants, shops or the local farmer's market. Relax on the porch and enjoy a nice meal, or venture to one of the many local attractions of the town. Enjoy restaurants, shops, art galleries, concert venues, locals theaters, The Performing Arts Center, and the Hawksbill Greenway trail all in walking distance.

Romantic, Peaceful Couple's Retreat
My husband and I found the spacious accommodations immaculate and luxurious. We enjoyed the spa bathroom with the garden tub and rain shower-head. The well equipped kitchen faced East and made for a peaceful dining location. Larry and Janine, the hospitable owners, also provided the garden patio and grill for guest's' use. They were also more than willing to recommend local wineries, restaurants, hiking, and other attractions. We highly recommend this vacation rental! (And you can't beat the price!)

Exceptional Location and accommodation
This property has been updated beautifully while keeping its original charm. The hawksbill suite is spacious and the pictures do not do it justice! We wish we had spent a week there. The outdoor patio is relaxing. Within walking distance to restaurants and greenway trail! The couple who own it are lovely and very accommodating!

Garfield Suites was lovely yet comfortable and owners went out of their way to see that we were happy.
This lovely home is in town and the neighborhood seems to be safe and quiet. The one bedroom was very comfortable with a wonderful hot tub in a large bathroom. Lots of room with a full kitchen and all items needed for cooking. We did cook supper one evening. A great patio with heat and gas grill available. The owners left necessary food/drink items for us (spices, water, coffee, creamer, snacks, etc.)so we did not have to buy extra items in order to cook. There was a beautiful living area which we did not really use, also books, puzzles, etc. The owners made sure that we had everything that we needed and they checked with us during and after our stay. Very clean and so pretty. Décor was top of the line. Bed very comfortable. I would recommend this this rental and I
plan to visit again.

The best find in the town.
We where looking for a place to stay on vacation, (the weather was going to be in the 20's and we were tent camping) and heard about the Garfield Guest House. {We stayed in the lower unit, not Hawksbill}
The owners, Larry & Janine, meet us to show us around...
It was wonderful !!
The suite was amazing with its large living area, king sized four post bed, nice kitchen area, and a separate room with a jetted bathtub.
Close enough to walk to the resturants and other areas in town and not far from Shenandoah National Park.
One of the best places to stay that we found on our vaca.

A perfect stay
My husband and I really enjoy staying at Garfield's guest house. Great location to go cycling around. Spacious and clean appartments with jaccuzi! Excellent host, really pleasant stay and a delicious breakfast to end the trip. Thanks a lot to the host for all the advices!

Best in town!
We arrived in Luray around 11pm on a Saturday night. After receiving the phone number from the Inn At Shenandoah. Larry met us at the Garfield guest house. Although it was late, he couldn't have been more welcoming. He gave us a full tour explaining how everything works, ie breakfast hours ect. (Larry is also the executive chef) the following morning breakfast was amazing! The king size 4 post bed along with the jacuzzi tub and full private kitchen makes this one of my top 3 B&B's, hopefully one day we can make it back. Definitely worth every penny!!

Simply Outstanding
The accommodations were fantastic but the hospitality was even better. Larry and his beautiful wife were extremely gracious. We were taken care of from the moment we pulled into the driveway. I've stayed all over the globe and nothing compares to attention to detail from this short trip. We will most certainly be back and Larry will be the first one we contact. Thanks again for a memorable trip.

We stayed in the Garfield House over a holiday weekend and it was a delightful place to stay in a charming little town.
Suites were spacious and comfortable and breakfast was scrumptious.
We would recommend this BnB to Luray visitors.

An amazing stay in Luray
We stayed at this apartment for a week as we wanted to spend time walking in the area after visiting DC. From the moment we met Larry the visit was really enjoyable. He was so friendly and had a lot of information to give us on the area which helped plan our stay as we were not familiar with the area. He also told us we could contact him if we needed anything during our visit. We had chosen this accommodation as we wanted somewhere we would be able to cook and it is one of the best apartment rentals we have stayed in. The standard of the accommodation is very high, it was extremely clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. Larry even offered to cook breakfast for us but due to all the trips we had planned we unfortunately could not take him upon the offer. If you want a place to stay near Shenandoah National Park then you must stay here.

Garfield guest house
The garfield guest house is the most romantic comfortable place to stay. The spa bath was so nice and the little kitchen was so convenient. Larry is such a wonderful host. He gave us so much information about the area and was in call for us if we needed anything. I would recommend this beautiful house to everyone I know.
