The ski area, comprising 44 ski resorts and 89 slopes, is only 300 meters away and is thus within walking distance. The apartment opens onto the day area, comprising a brand-new Febal kitchen (with state-of-the-art appliances, such as microwave, induction hobs, dishwasher, fridge and oven), a dining corner with a round table for 4 people and chairs, and a relaxation corner furnished with a double sofa bed, a wooden bench and a TV set. Both rooms have precious oak flooring. The night area is composed of : - a master bedroom with double bed (170cm x 200cm), two bedside tables, a white ash wardrobe with 3 doors and mirror; - a bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet, mirror and washing machine. The apartment comes with a private ski room on the basement and a covered parking space. Gressoney-La-Trinité is at the foot of Monte Rosa, in the Lys Valley (also known as Gressoney Valley), crossed by the Lys creek. From this side, you can admire several peaks of Monte Rosa, such as the Eastern Lyskamm (4,527 meters, the highest point of the valley), the Western Lyskamm (4,481 meters), the Castor (4,226 meters) and the Vincent Pyramid (4,215 meters). In winter Gressoney-La-Trinité is an important ski area of the Valle d’Aosta region, part of the Monterosa Ski resort. The area is well connected to Champoluc in the Ayas valley and to Alagna Valsesia in the Sesia valley. Another important sight in the area is the Ethnographic Museum and the Walser Ecomuseum (with a rural house attached). One of the most famous food products of the area, the ‘Toma di Gressoney’ (a delicious local cheese), is under the protection of Slow Food, the important Italian organization presiding over typical food and wine products. In the nearby town of Gressoney la Trinité, only minutes away by car, you find many supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
