Fruit, bread, yogurt, milk, and juice were waiting. Very nice touch. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Vicki was on site for explanations.

Fantastic apartment!
The apartment is clean and spacious and the hostess was very kind and welcoming. She had a variety of breakfast food for us to enjoy in the morning. Could not have been better!

Lovely apartment with lots of nice touches
The apartment is large for a 1 bedroom, and is very tastefully and minimally decorated. The unit is very clean, and the appliances are new. The hospitable owner, Vicki, who lives in the building's second floor, made everything very easy, and kindly stocks the kitchen with a few necessaries for breakfast and snacks. The downtown location made it easy to walk to dinner at the local restaurants. Saudarkrokur is a charming town, and makes a good base for exploring this beautiful region.

Fantastic place to stay
We stayed here for two nights and it was just wonderful. The apartment is very big, with high ceilings since it used to be a commercial building. It was spotlessly clean, the appliances are all new, and the kitchen was well stoked with staples and the makings of breakfast for three - bread, skyr, juice, granola, eggs, fruit.
Vicki the owner was a gem who provided great advice and was ready to help if needed. Sauðarkrokur is a great base for exploring the area and shopping for crafts.

Excellent location, with an excellent service by an excellent Vi
We have been here for just one day with our Family. It was the by far the best apartment we had on Iceland. Although we booked the smaller apartment we got the bigger apartment for the same price. We had a really warm welcome by Vicki. Vicki does exactly know what travelers need after a long trip. So the fridge was filled with some fruits, marmalade, butter, milk and yoghurt, and coffee and tee was also available. Even a bred was there. The location is perfect to explore the surrounding. It's worth to stay for more than one night.

Excellent choice
I was very impressed. The apartment is brand new, spacious and nicely decorated in a contemporary style with lovely artistic touches. The kitchen is well equipped. I stayed in summer and I loved the way the sun poured in the windows on one side in the morning and the other side in the afternoon.
Vicki was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It was easy to get to everything too. Nice walk above the town and views of the fiord.
