Would have been 5 star if we didn't have to wait a half hour to get into the house, owner telling me they sent info but did not and responding to me in a not so professional way. My son was with us and he is a guidance system programmer and assured me that it was on the owners end otherwise it would have been great.

Our family gets together every year in various cities and this is the nicest place we have stayed. The house is very close to the battlefield and downtown. The living room could use a few more adult sized chairs but everything else was very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

We stayed at Stratton House for a three day weekend in the end of September. It was a perfect location to see the sights of Gettysburg. The house was in excellent condition and had everything we needed to make for a wonderful weekend.

Seven adults stayed two nights. The location was phenomenal. Most of the attractions and historical restaurants are within walking distance. The house was clean and roomy. We all loved reading the news articles about the house. The articles were in frames on the walls. The owners left fresh eggs and beans for coffee. Everything was delicious. Bathrooms were spotless and decor was so quaint. We will definitely consider this rental when we visit again.

The location of the property is excellent for seeing Gettysburg and the surrounding areas. The home is older but very well maintained and nicely furnished. The host were great to deal with and were very responsive to messages. We will definitely look at this again next time we are in the area.
