Wonderful weekend location while visiting Gettysbu...
Wonderful weekend location while visiting Gettysburg. Host set up extra twin cot to accommodate our 3rd person. We enjoyed morning coffee on the private back deck overlooking the farm field and yard. Wifi speed enabled us to access streaming channel for favorite movies. We ate out but kitchen was well equipped. No dishwasher yet but looks like it may be coming. Minor/insignificant details not quite finished yet but Amish Schoolhouse was quaint, well furnished and suited us just fine!

The property is very private and the pictures don't do the cabin justice, it's gorgeous and very comfy! Ryan and Katie are super cool. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I hope to be back soon. Thank you!

Everything was perfect.... Clean, well-supplied, ready for us, peaceful and serene..... Just what we needed. Short drive to Gettysburg, Littlestown and Hanover, but definitely far enough away from the hub-bub of the city. The loudest noises were the birds chirping.
Can't wait to go back.

We stayed for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. It's about 5 miles from Gettysburg, quiet, relaxing, well furnished, immaculate. We spent probably 1/2 our time in Gettysburg, and 1/2 at the house just enjoying the area.

The Schoolhouse is a wonderful place to stay. We were visiting our children and grandchildren who live in Gettysburg, and we were close to everything and everyone. The house was so much more spacious than we had anticipated and immaculate! The kitchen was well stocked with basics. We had the family over for breakfast and dinner and there was plenty of room inside and out. Hopefully there will be availability when we plan our next trip. Staying anywhere else would be a big disappointment.

The property was very clean and had all the essentials. Really great location close to the battlefield. Kids loved the school house look of the property. Would definitely recommend for families or couples on a getaway.

Peaceful location minutes from town. Beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The Schoolhouse was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the birds or watching fireflies in the evenings. Communication with Ryan and Katie was easy and we appreciated the recommendations on the chalkboard for food and shopping (the Cottage Creperie should definitely be added). Our next trip to Gettysburg will include a stay at the Schoolhouse:)
