Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Gettysburg. Walk to the many restaurants in the town, step out the back door and there’s Cemetery Ridge and Culp’s Hill. Rod is the perfect host, and the historic house contains everything that could be needed.

Perfect welcome - comfortable and convenient. Very engaging hosts and PRIVATE GARAGE PARKING !!! We just moved to Gettysburg and we needed a place to rest and recharge during our move. Couldn't have been more fortunate 😎

I took my husband of 14 wonderful years to see Gettysburg. He is an avid lover of history so I wanted to take him to a place that was ripe with. The apartment was lovely and in its own right a part of the history. The surrounding area was a dream of history and beauty, loss and victory. We were there for 2 days and didn’t see everything. We are both looking forward to going again. And will gladly stay here again.

This rental is exactly as described. It is very clean and comfortable. The beds were great as well. We had our coffee on the deck and enjoyed the morning. We enjoyed that it’s location is within walkable district to shops and some points of interest. Parking on site is another perk. Rod met us at check in and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Gettysburg.

We had a great stay at Rod’s place in downtown Gettysburg. My 3 college friends and I thought the location was perfect to get to town and to campus. Rod has parking spaces in the back so we could leave our cars and walk everywhere. The size of both apartments was perfect. Both apartments were in great condition, too. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed using the umbrella table and chairs on the back deck for catching up with each other over drinks and appetizers!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! Super clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. I felt right at home immediately. It was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The hosts were wonderful and even accommodated scheduling changes. I cannot think of a single complaint! Gettysburg itself is awesome! So much to do and see in a small geographic area. And this place was in a perfect location!! We could walk to everything and there was even a parking space in the back. We had a great time and truly enjoyed staying here!!

Very nice accommodations in an historic house. Great location near battlefields and restaurants and shops. This first floor apartment includes a grassy area plus cozy deck with table. This is our second stay here, and we plan to come back again!
