Book the Culp House! Everything about this rental was exceptional.
The owners were responsive to the few questions I had before we arrived. Upon arrival, I was thrilled with the parking situation of three off-street spaces next to the home. The keyless entry made life simple - no keys to keep track of.
The home was spotless and welcoming. We enjoyed time in the living room and parlor and really loved the private backyard space for dining and relaxing.
One reviewer said that the street was noisy at the front of the house. We didn't find that to be the case. The home is in town but there's a stop sign on the road that means cars are slowing down, not zooming down the road making lots of noise. It was not an issue.
The layout of the house suited us perfectly. We are a family of four and our in-laws joined us. The front bedroom has a master bath and the in-laws enjoyed their own space. The other two bedrooms and bathroom gave our family our own sleeping and bathing space we appreciated. The jetted tub was also a hit! Plenty of towels, linens, and blankets and even fans if needed.
The home is in easy walking distance of the town of Gettysburg. Ice cream at Mr. G's was a nightly treat as was the candy shop. There is plenty of shopping and dining within a couple minutes of the home.
