Historic Home in Superb Location
Sparkling clean historic home with gorgeous woodwork and floors. Lots of room. Small, sweet back deck and yard. The 2 beds were very comfortable. Perfect location for anything you want to do in Gettysburg. The apartment is sparsely stocked so bring extra paper goods if you are staying more than a couple days. The front parlor upholstered living room furniture is showing its age. There was a broken sleeper sofa in the second parlor we were counting on, so had to improvise. Owner was responsive and tried to assist. Overall, we felt fortunate to be staying in the heart of old Gettysburg, and are glad owners make homes like this available to visitors.

Awesome property, great place to visit
This was an incredibly pleasant experience! The rooms were spotless, the location was perfect, the parking was easy and all was an amazing experience. We hope to stay again next year!

Pros and Cons
Starting with the cons:
1) Half roll of toilet paper, with only one additional roll in the building. Very poor quality TP, almost have to go out of your way to find a toilet paper this useless.
2) No shower soaps/ shampoos. 2 dishwasher packets. Hand soap smelled like hospital.
3) Half roll of paper towels.
4) Pillows provided are pretty uncomfortable.
5) No little extras that most places in the price range normally come with. (coffee, tea, cooking oil etc)
*****PROS*****
1)The location is very convenient to anything you would want to do in Gettysburg.
2)The place is impeccably clean and tidy.
3)The apartment is a first floor apartment which is great for older folks who have trouble doing more than 6 stairs.(there is also a separate upstairs unit, I am not talking about that unit in this review)
4) The apartment is spacious, and very cozy.
5) Fully functional kitchen with tea pot, coffee makers, oven stove, full size fridge with freezer, microwave and toaster.
OK, so this place is right on the edge of being truly great. It would be a disservice for me not to point out its inexpensive fixes that would catapult it to that level.
***I would without hesitation stay here again, and most likely will in the future***
I DO recommend it. Bring real TP, Paper towels, shampoo body soap, and unless you like hospital scent hand soap, well bring your own nicer smelling hand soap.

Convenient location, well appointed
We were able to walk much of the time we were in Gettysburg and leave the car behind (much welcome after 5-12hr drives in the week prior to arriving in Gettysburg!) Great ice cream shops nearby!
The house/apartment was perfect for our group of 4. Due to unexpected family issues we had to change our travel dates and the owner was very accommodating/helpful in making that happen.
The only negative was one chair with soiled/torn upholstery. Certainly not enough of an issue to spoil the stay! We’d definitely return should we find ourselves in Gettysburg again.
