This was such a fun property for our family ! Close to both the beach and bay and great restaurants. We really enjoyed the 2 bikes and rented more at the shop e-rides down the street. The host was amazing to communicate with and check in was super easy ! Loved our stay!

We loved our stay at the Kemp family beach home! Besides being a beautiful and comfortable property with fabulous amenities, it was the perfect location for access to the ocean, bay and The Point where we attended a wedding.
So many features that made our stay so comfortable:
-The top floor with large kitchen, living room with a comfy couch for a quick nap!, and big deck with table off dining area-a few in our party loved sitting out there drinking coffee in the early morning.
-We loved the design of the kitchen, its appliances and how well stocked it is. There is an abundance of counter space, cookware, serving dishes, cooking and eating utensils, storage containers and more. We didn’t do any baking, but had we wanted to, there was no lack there.
-Night lights strategically placed throughout the house - bedrooms, bathrooms & hallways.
-Kleenex available in the kitchen and every bathroom.
-Two paper towels on holders in the kitchen.
Items we used that made our stay more fun:
-Two well-maintained beach cruisers
-Beach chairs & coolers
-Horse shoes - such a hit at our beach get together!
Other highlights:
-We were able to park a 2001 Toyota Tacoma and 6 seat golf cart in the garage! People stopping by to visit were able to park in the space in front of the garage.
-Teresa was very prompt to respond whenever we contacted her and accommodated our request for early check-in.
-Nancy, the property manager, was helpful and provided clear instructions.

We spent a wonderful 4 nights here with family and friends celebrating our daughter's college graduation. The kitchen is so spacious and just perfect for a large get together. It is incredibly stocked with just about anything you would need. I appreciated that all bathrooms were stocked with toilet paper, kleenex and paper towels in kitchen. The deck was a nice place for the younger generation to hang. The dining room table is huge. The living room area with TV is smaller than we expected but we spent most of our time in kitchen, dining area or deck. There's a "secret" roof deck that is accessible by ladder. Bedrooms are good size and love that there were 4 bathrooms. Lots of stairs so be prepared for that. The garage does not fit a regular sized sedan unless angled and one car fits in front of garage so I can't imagine fitting 3 cars. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The place was a great location and very easy to walk from the Ocean beach to the Bay beach. It was well stocked and the family had a great time overall. The parking was a major concern, we had a mini van and even at an angle it would not fit in the garage. We had two vehicles and neither was a good fit in the garage. It is made for small cars. There is long term parking but it is not on the property. You could park along the garage door in the alley, but they came and told us to move the car if we didn't want a ticket. At least the officer was considerate and it so happen we were leaving at the time he had come by. The place is fantastic for large families like us, we had 6 kids under 11, and they had a blast.

Had a group of 12 of us traveling to San Diego for a long friends weekend and the house was great. It’s in a great location if you plan on going to the beach and it’s also a great location for visiting different places around SD has the house is perfectly 15-20 mins away from all the major attractions. I would say the place does sleep 12 but 2 of the beds are in cubbies which might be a little tight for adults. We made it work though and really enjoyed our trip

This place was the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. There are lots of stairs, so be prepared if you are unable to do stairs. We were fine with them, but just be aware. Perfect location and the listing was accurate and the property manager Nancy was responsive to our needs!

Pros: Fantastic Location and this is the reason to book this place. Really appreciated all the amenities provided like beach toys, chairs, bikes, coolers etc. There are 3 chairs in living area and the couch. This was nice for large group and I didn’t remember seeing 3 chairs in photos although I could have missed it. Great property for a large group. The outside hand held shower wand was great for helping to keep sand out of the house. Beds were comfortable. Communication with Teresa, the owner, was quick and easy.
Cons: Communication with Nancy, the manager, was not as efficient as communication with Teresa. It appeared most of the neighboring properties are rentals and noise until 3am was a problem on the weekend for our group who stayed on 2nd level bedrooms. We could not get the Wi-Fi to work but we did not need it so this was not a problem for us. FYI Parking is tight even for small vehicles. Beware of the dimensions provided.
Would definitely stay here again with a large group.
