DESCRIPTION OF MOUNTAIN CREEK LODGE:
5 Bedrooms / 4 Full and 2 Half Bathrooms
All 5 bedrooms are on the upper level. All three levels of the home flow outdoors, connecting it to gardens, nature, the north base of Ducker Mountain, and the creek just below.
Master Bedroom Suite #1 - King Bed, large bathroom with 2 sinks, a walk-in shower and a jacuzzi tub. There is also a private sitting room/office attached to this master bedroom. The room features 2 large skylights in the this bedroom which open at the push of a button.
Master Ensuite #2 - Huge Queen bedroom with ensuite full bathroom with tub.
Bedroom #3 - Queen bedroom with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with tub, connects to bedroom 4.
Bedroom #4 - One full bed and one twin bed with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
Bedroom #5 - Large room with full ensuite bathroom. This room has bunk beds, a futon sleeper, and a couch. There is also an air hockey table and a treadmill in this room. French doors lead out to the back of the property. This is a nice room for up to 4 kids to sleep.
The main area has a large open great room with amazing gourmet kitchen and breakfast nook. The kitchen includes a 6 gas burner stove and a Subzero refrigerator. The dining table extends and seats up to 10-12. There is also a fabulous screened in patio with lots of seating, metal roof, a wood burning fireplace and 2 grills (gas and charcoal).
The lower level is dedicated to family fun: there's a pool table, ping pong table, kitchenette, card table, half bath, and a movie theater which seats 12. There is also a washer/dryer on the lower level.
In the front of the house, there is a beautiful stream with a tree house and three swings. Your kids will spend hours playing here.
There are 4 TV's in the house: Great room, kitchen, 5th bedroom and movie theater.
We do not allow large gatherings, parties, weddings, etc. at this property. Maximum occupancy: 12 persons. We do allow up to 2 well behaved and housebroken dogs. Sorry, no cats allowed.

Can't say enough about the home and the setting and it did feel like Home! The location was perfect minutes from Biltmore estate and downtown Asheville. I will be back with my children and grandchildren in the spring!
