This was an amazing cabin. Newly renovated with attention paid to every detail. Beautiful views of the sun setting over the mountains as the kids caught lightening bugs in the grass! Absolutely stunning!

This is a fabulous place to stay! The pictures don’t do it justice. Couldn’t recommend more highly! Excellent accommodation, location, and owners!

About the neighbourhood
Sugar Hollow road is a quite loop road that is half paved and half gravel. On your way up to the cottage you pass beautiful farmland and horse fields. In the early 1950's twelve cottages were built by a developer from Chicago as a vacation retreat in the mountains. Hickory Hollow is one of the original twelve. The cottage sits off of a beautiful flat country road lined by a hickory Forest.
How to get there
The address is 240 Sugar Hollow Fairview, NC 28730 Sugar Hollow is a loop road down to 74-A. If you turn left out of the driveway you will hit pavement whcih will give you a smoother ride to and from the cottage. From Charlotte: I-85 S to US-321 (Exit 17), to I-40 W (Exit 43B) towards Asheville, to US-74 E (Exit 53A) towards Blue Ridge Parkway/Bat Cave, go 9.2 miles and take left on Sugar Hollow Rd less than mile on left is 240 Sugar Hollow From Atlanta: I-85 N towards Greenville to I-26 W (Exit 70) toward Asheville, follow US-25 N to right on Cane Creek, stay on Cane Creek almost 9 miles to end, turn right on US-74, go 2.4 miles to left on Sugar Hollw Road, 240 is less than mile on left. From Raleigh: I-40 W to Asheville, to US-74
