Everything about this rental was excellent and we couldn't agree more with the other recent reviews. The location is just a short walk from Three Tables Beach, Waimea and Banzai Pipeline are in easy walking distance. Sunset Beach is a longer but very pleasant walk (about 45 minute). The best part about this rental was the keyless entry. The location is good BUT the noise level was terrible. This unit is attached to a house (under the main residence) which we didn't know about from the ad or we wouldn't have rented it. We could hear every foot step and move made from the upstairs. I'm sorry that you were not happy with your stay at my property. The only noise we heard about was on the 4th of July when we had a small family (2 adults and one 10 year old) over for a BBQ. They left by 9pm so we felt we easily complied with the 10pm - 8am "quiet time" policy....

About the neighbourhood
The unit is the first story of a two-story home in a quiet cul-de-sac street across from the beach. We (the owners) live in the upstairs unit. The beach across the street - Three Tables - is great for swimming & snorkeling from April to October. During the winter months, it has a small surf break that is great for getting away from the surf crowds at Pipeline and Sunset. Waimea Bay is a close walk away and is generally swimmable year-round. It is also one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There are bikes for you to take to the grocery store, lunch trucks or other beaches close by (Pipeline, Sunset, etc.). Getting around
If you'd like to see more of the island, a car is recommended. However, many of our guests use the bikes & nearby buses to have a wonderful time here on the North Shore.
