Great views of the West Maui Mountains and short drive (or walk) to a few restaurants or fruit stand. This campground is located in the most dry area of the island.You can drive in anytime ! $20 PP. They also have a kayak rental business right there in the camp and is an amazing experience some of the best whale watching, snorkeling, and kayaking Maui has to offer !. *YOU DONT NEED PERMITS •Hosmer Grove Campground• Located just below the 7,000 foot elevation level on the slopes of Haleakala Volcano with picnic tables, BBQ grills, toilets, drinking water.Perfect to see Haleakala sunrise ! * YOU DONT NEED PERMITS •Wai’anapanapa State Park Campground • Also along the Road to Hana, this campsite is located by a gorgeous black sand beach, lava tube, natural freshwater caves, sea arches, a blowhole, hiking trail and more. *You must get a camping permit online or in person before you show up. We really were excited about the adventure in the jeep! It lived up to most of our expectations. Had comfy sheets and nice towels, but didn't have some of the cooking stuff we thought we would have. Wasn't as well stocked as we needed it...More

Had a fabulous experience with this Jeep/tent combo. Great communication for easy pick up/drop off. Jeep was clean and equipped with a full kitchen, table, 2 chairs, cooler, stove and even snorkel gear. Camping experience at Wai’anapanapa was amazing! Tent is easy to set up...More
