We call our vacation rental Green Mango after the enormous mango tree in our front yard, which, because of our elevation at over 2,000 feet above sea level, only bears green fruit. We are Daniela—from Italy—and husband Brad, and we look forward to welcoming you. The apartment is new, sparkling, and beautifully appointed. Sleeps four comfortably with a queen bed –with hand-crafted platform and headboard—in the bedroom and a living room sofa that converts to two twin beds that can also be pushed together to form a king. The bedroom has a work desk as well. Has its own private entrance with parking out front as well as an entry into the home’s front foyer. Additional parking is available on the easement at the front of the house. Sliding doors in the apartment’s living room open onto a lanai and patio with large picnic table, gas grill, and tropical garden featuring birds of paradise, jacaranda tree, fenced lawn area with abundant flowers, and small pond accented with lilies and reeds. From the yard on a clear day, enjoy views of Mauna Kea and the ocean in the distance. Amenities include fully-equipped kitchenette with comfortable seating for four, mini fridge, hot plate, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven. Full bathroom with shower and amenities for your comfort. Towels changed every three days and linens, weekly. Both living room and bedroom have flat screen televisions equipped with Netflix (no cable). Movies in Italian and English available on the movie drive. Free wifi available. Beach trips are a breeze with Hawaii travel guides and other reading material, folding chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach towels. Upon arrival, an aloha basket including fresh fruits, cereals and honey offers self-catering breakfast fixings. Coffee, sugar, milk, salt & pepper, and olive oil are stocked in the kitchenette, and fresh herbs may be picked from the garden as needed. We enjoy meeting and talking with people but are equally fine with giving you your space; you decide on the level of interaction you’d like. We look forward to hosting you! About the neighbourhood

The neighborhood is quiet and safe. People around love to walk early in the morning and there are nearby paths. Kamuela - Waimea is about 3 miles and there are several places to eat and shop. The temperature is fantastic, little more cooler then the beach. Elevation is about 2600f or 800m over sea level.
