About the neighbourhood
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Situated in the leafy & relaxing suburbs of Thorpe St Andrew - a very popular area of Norwich city. 500 yrds up the road are a great selection of shops for your self catering needs. The bus route into the city is almost opposite the house & the journey no more than 10 minutes. If you prefer to walk then there is a picturesque 25 minute stroll (quicker if you want) into the city from the house.
We are confident your stay will a relaxing one but one where you will be able to dip into all the action as and when you desire.
There is a great park only 2 minutes away and some great walks to nearby pubs and restaurants down on the river (which only 5 or so minutes walk away.
Getting around
If you arrive by car then Norfolk is literally a short drive & you are in to the countryside or 30 mins from the wonderful beaches Norfolk has to offer.
Best way - walking the mile or so to the main city areas is easy & there is the odd great pub (The Fat Cat, Coach & Horses for great ales & food) to water yourself on the way too.
You can drive to the main areas of the city and parking is fine - best to get there early & not too pricey.
There is a bus stop 50 yards away from the house & the buses are cheap (as low as £1.80 per ride or better if you buy saver tickets - with cash only if you buy on the bus). Buses are constantly running & take 10 plus mins to get into the main areas of the city.

BEST TO USE A GPS - but if you do not have one then please let me know.
The main train station is a 15 minute walk. Getting around by taxi is cheap - circa £6 from one end of the city to the other - ABC taxis (find on internet) are the most reliable/friendliest/best cars.
