Finca Falcon is a charming rustic house dating back to 1880 that has been lovingly refurbished in 2016 maintaining the character of the original house but adding modern conveniences. The house sits on a vast plot of land between the village of Calvia and the sea front resort of Palma Nova at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain range in a protected rural area. accommodation comprises of four bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 8 which is perfect for big families, the house is distributed over two floors with the original terracotta tiles maintained. There is air-conditioning throughout the whole house (on a timer) and free WiFi. Outside is a large kidney shaped private swimming pool with decking around it, an outside table and chairs for al fresco dining, a gas BBQ (please be aware that this property is in protected area and no real fires are allowed during the summer months) and a Petanque pitch. The villa is well connected to the capital Palma, the beach resorts and four golf courses but also provides a haven of peace and tranquillity. About the neighbourhood
The picturesque town of Calvià (3 km) has a historic feel with ancient architecture, dating back to the 17th /13th century, with a relatively small number of shops and cafés you could be a world away from the newer beach resorts. Palma Nova (3 km) a seaside resort with a wide shallow bay, 3 good beaches: Son Maties, Na Nadala, Es Carregador, and a small marina on the Son Caliu side of the bay. It offers all the amenities you would expect including water sports, shopping, restaurants and bars located on the main strip by the beach. Santa Ponsa (3km) an ideal beach for families, it's shallow, sandy and sweeps across the width of the bay. Sailing, surfing, scuba, jet skiing are within easy reach plus purpose-built play areas for children.
