The rental property was wonderful. The water was beautiful. We rented from Christy a d Shane and also did an excursion thru them which was the highlight of the trip. Loved they had transportation for us already. And they made travel arrangements to get to the island. The house had everything we needed and even had kayaks and paddleboards which were fun as well. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. We got fresh fish and cooked ourselves one night but also ate at many of the restaurants. Definately would recommend anyone to book this stay. 5+ stars for sure!

My husband and I just returned from an amazing vacation in the Bahamas! Sandy Shoes/Sweetings Paradise was the perfect house for the two of us. The views are amazing and the location wonderful for a true-beach getaway! Thanks, Christy and Shane, for being such great hosts. You answered our questions quick, and the house was in perfect condition. Suggestions for travelers: Eat at the what appears to be the locals' favorite restaurants...Eagle's Landing, The Gap, and Budda's Snack Shack. Great food at reasonable prices. Enjoy the public park! It's honestly the prettiest location on Spanish Wells. Rent a boat. We rented a 17-ft. boat from Harbourside Golf Cart & Boat Rentals. We went to a couple of the nearby islands and just parked the boat, walked the beach, and picnicked. It was wonderful...no buildings, no people. One of the islands DID have a few full-time residents: pigs, chickens, roosters, a turkey, and some ducks. LOL Rent from Christy and Shane for the best vacation you'll ever have! Diane & Frank

Yes, it's a little bit from "town" (15 min buggy ride), but it provides a peace and tranquility that is amazing. The view is incredible. The house is clean and modern. And, Christy is awesome. We plan to come again and rent two houses to accommodate more family.

We really enjoyed our stay! Both Christy and Shane were amazing and went above and beyond to help us in getting checked in and with airport transportation. They were also super cool. Shane also has an awesome boat and does charters. The house, while not large was perfectly appointed and comfortably accommodated us and our 2 teenagers. The deck and beach area were also amazing. Would definitely stay again!

Sandy Shoes was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway! The house had all necessities and was just as advertised (maybe even better). We spent so much time relaxing on the comfy front porch overlooking the water. Christy was such a great host and made getting on and off the island and to the airport easy. She was accommodating and helpful when we had unexpected changes. We really enjoyed the nature and culture of Spanish Wells and Sandy Shoes and highly recommend it.

We had the absolute best getaway! We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an awesome time! The property is right in front of the water with many options such as paddle boarding and kayaking or just relaxing with a beautiful view! Christy was super on top of everything in terms of communication and replied quickly to all of our questions. The property was clean and exactly as pictured! All the locals were very nice and welcoming, Spanish Wells is the place to go!

Christy and Shane are the best. Immediately made new friends. House is exactly as pictured and is super cute. We will defiantly be back to Spanish Wells and we'll no doubt stay with Christy and Shane. Highly recommend spending a day or two with Shane @ Seagillian Life. Had a fantastic time! Sandy Shoes was absolutely perfect! Christy and Shane were the best!! From the moment we arrived to our departure, they made our vacation stress free!! We are so glad we chose Spanish Wells to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary!! It was truly amazing!

We had a great 2nd visit and we be back for sure. Such nice people !
