Our family of 3 had a great 5 days at the Lodge at Spruce Peak and skiing Stowe. The condo was the perfect size for 2 adults & our 6yo daughter. Everything was exactly as described by the host. The host was great, they gave so much information upfront and even checked in with us after the first day of our stay making sure everything was ok. The condo is very well maintained and stocked. You got everything you’ll need and more… plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, tissue boxes, soap, yes even bodylotion, showergel, shampoo & conditioner. Plenty of bath towels, extra pillows & bedding. The little foldable mattress worked perfectly for our daughter. We placed it between the king bed and the window and it made for a super cozy sleeping spot for her.
The condo‘s location is amazing, you get to the restaurants, the ski valet, spa & pool in 2-4 minutes.
The restaurants at the Lodge are both great, although the buffet breakfast at the Alpine Hall is totally overpriced with $30 per adult ($15 for kids) and it’s very limited selection. At least they have an omelette station and you could also order a la carte. In general, everything at the Lodge & Spruce Villlage is very pricey. So maybe stock up on a couple of snacks and definitely water at the grocery in Burlington on your way from the airport or in one of the markets around Stowe. The condo has a good sized little fridge to store your groceries.
We loved the proximity to the slopes and the direct access to the Spruce Peak Village.
