JuJu Studio is aptly named – this place has good juju! The studio-style guest house is artistically decorated, from the repurposed stained glass windows and framed original prints to the subtle, well-placed lighting and decorative tile – no detail was overlooked. The bath towels are thicker than a hotel’s and our host provided flavored k-cup coffee and chocolate biscotti. He even placed fresh flowers in the bathroom! Although there are no dressers for your clothing, the apartment has ample closets and storage throughout; three adults were not tripping over each other’s suitcases or shoes. While a microwave, convection oven, small refrigerator, dishes and utensils were provided, there is no kitchen sink. We were on the go during our 2-night stay, so this was not an issue for us. Oh! And the gardens! What a delight to walk through the many paths and find surprise sculptures, unique bird houses and unusual artifacts. Our host, a landscape architect and metal sculptor, clearly uses the gardens as his canvas. Just minutes from the shops and restaurants of adorable Burlington, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and most certainly will book at JuJu Studio again the next time we visit our daughter at Norwich University.
